The shoulder straps are nice if your walking and need to carry something in addition to the guitar. The padding is minimally adequate. That's not a quality issue. It's an economy issue. I only paid $16. My guitar fits perfectly - shallow bowl Adams style model

Answer:	I don't believe it is any noisy than a regular keyboard... BUT we purchased this one to replace a keyboard that had some sticky keys after having a pop spilled on it. After only one day of use my children reinstalled the sticky key keyboard for several reasons. The Slim keyboard is very tight in terms of key placement, hence many typing errors, some keys were not responsive, the support feet place it at a strange angle to type on and the keys are very flat (no slight bowl on the top of them. Another complaint was the missing volume control keys on the upper right corner; which the old keyboard had. I will be honest and say I work on the computer for my job and I was in agreement with the kids that the new one was a no go. It is in the box to take to Good Will.

I would think that outdoors in rain it will be waterproof, water will not go through, however if a heavy deluge of rain probably not, just my thought.

Answer:	This keyboard uses a USB port so would plug directly into your laptop. If you plug a mouse into your laptop to use when the lid is shut and that works okay, a keyboard would also work. I used to work in IT, but I've also never had a laptop where I closed the lid while using it before, so I can't say for 100% it will work.

Answer:	I just got mine yesterday and started to use it just now at work. It is pretty quiet, but there are a few keys that are not quiet. Like the backspace, the space bar, shift keys, Enter keys, + and 0(Insert) key on the numeric pad. I really wanted a quiet keyboard, so I am not sure if I will return it cuz I really like the shortcut keys a lot!. Also, some keys are more raised than others like my "i" and "" key. There are more, but those are the worst. I am sure that it wasn't supposed to be like that, so I am 50/50 on returning it.

Corded

Traditionally, keyboards have had a cable that connects the keyboard to the computer using a USB port, hence a corded keyboard, and using a corded keyboard has its advantages. Being connected means you’re free from lag and interference issues, and you don’t have to worry about changing batteries or charging your keyboard, as the keyboard draws power from the computer. However, you are limited by how long the cord is, and the extra clutter of a cable may bother you.
