I have a regular phone connected to the same phone line and if I need a private conversation I use the regular phone and turn the polycom off without hanging up until I get through with my private conversation. This seems to work well for me. This may be what you are speaking about - not sure. I just press the phone button on the polycom once I am ready to resume public conversation and hang up the regular phone. Hope that helps. |

If your line is configured for 3 Way Calling, you can call one person, do a flash hook, call another person, do another flash hook and conference all 3 parties together. Answer: | It is approx 44mm with 2 cells. Most importantly, please pay attention to the shape of the plug which is square. I received mine about 1/2 charged. Put them in the phone and let them charge over night. Works perfectly! |
