Answer:	I have not tried that . From the looks , it is held in place by adhesive. I don't see that you couldn't remove that part and replace it with foam ! I see where your going and I'm sure you can accomplish it. Hope it helps!

Answer:	Not very good quality here. One of the latches broke on mine after very little use. My advice - buy a case made for a laptop.

Answer:	Pull down on the butt end of it, the tip slots into a little hole and the other end snaps into place. So when you pull on the non tip end it will pop out.

Answer:	I suppose you could take a picture of it. I use this for taking phone messages, daily to-do lists, and writing notes I know I am going to erase before long to help me think through a process. It has saved me a lot of post-it notes.
