Answer:	You could do this. As long as the paper isn't metallic it should not interfere with the pen communication. Note that by default your tablet will map to your overall desktop, this may result in a different aspect ration when drawing on the tablet if tracing. There are options in the Wacom Tablet Properties however which allow you to adjust your tablet active area to match whatever workflow you would like. Answer:	I haven't tried to write on a pdf doc myself so I'm not certain how it would function. But the tablet acts like a mouse with a pen, so as long as the program that you are using supports pen/drawing function, such as Microsoft one note or the latest version of PowerPoint, the tablet is compatable with the function (I just tried it with PowerPoint and OneNote and they both allow you to erase just part of a stroke). So in short, if the program already has the function, the tablet supports it. As far as I know, it doesn't add a drawing function to a program if it does not already support it.
Question:	Will the pen's pressure sensitivity work on gimp
