Answer:	You can tap the top of the page to get menus. At the bottom there are 2 boxes. Tap either and you get multiple pages that you can still read, but slide over as any as you want. When you find where you want to be, tap the page and it goes to normal page at that page number. Hope this helps

Question:	There are mixed reviews on the battery life of the new Oasis. What are you new owners finding as you use yours
Answer:	My battery last a very long time. I keep my Oasis in airplane mode, except to sync or download, Bluetooth off, and I went to settings and turned on the inverted/dark mode which increased my battery life substantially. I read everyday on it for about 2 hours and I do not have to charge my Oasis except about every 1 and 1/2 to 2 weeks. However, I usually charge it every week even though it still may be at 30-40%. Charges fast as well. Believe me using the dark mode makes a huge difference!

Answer:	Simply put its the extra features and premium build. The page turn buttons (has both buttons and touchscreen) and 7” screen that you mentioned. The all aluminum and glass construction vs Paperwhite is all plastic is a big cost reason I think. The original ergonomic design that makes the bigger 7” screen model lighter weight than the Paperwhite. 25 LED lights vs Paperwhite has 5. Warm lights in addition to regular lights for color temperature control at night. Ability to set auto-adjust on the lighting, so that it adjusts brightness to surrounding lighting automatically. These are all wonderful features to have, but depending on how much a person reads and their budget, may not be worth the extra money for some. I am fortunate to have both this Oasis and a Paperwhite - and tend to use my Paperwhite more overall. It’s the one I don’t mind throwing in my purse on the way out the door, the smaller, less expensive one to travel with, and the one I mostly use by the pool and at the beach ( although both are waterproof). I guess I tend to protect the Oasis more as it was more of an investment. It is very enjoyable to read with, especially at night with the warm lighting. Whether you really need/want one over the Paperwhite is up to you 🙂

Answer:	It does not look like the device power is PWM (pulse width modulated) because it is electronically controlled (unlike other resistive or infrared hot plates). However, that's not to say that the power output going in the coil is not duty cycled. Assuming that a power level is indeed achieved by PWM, you should have a circuit that's capable of always delivering 15A and a pan that's thick enough to have some thermal lag.

The rest of the heat is transferred from that area to the rest of the container via conduction. So, make sure you have a very efficient container (enameled cast iron maybe). Answer:	No, it's very lightweight. As long as you have enough slack in the cable, it should be fine. I set mine on top of the TV and tucked the cable under the TV's built-in antenna, clipped in it's storage position. If you need to, I suppose you could use velcro to hold the base down, but in most cases it shouldn't be a problem

Sounds like you have holder for the Nook Glowlight, not the Nook 3 Glowlight. The Nook three is a bit larger and does not fit nook glowlight. since I had the incorrect holder the first time from Barns & Noble. If you have the correct holder , open it so it lies flat and on the right hand side where the nook is suppose to slide in, look at the left and there is a tab that folds under, pull the tab out, slide the nook 3 in and push the tab under the nook 3 and it makes a picture frame. Answer:	The reason you hold a book with 2 hands is because it is heavy, if it is a hardback, or because you need to hold it open to the page if it is a paperback. Since neither of these apply to a kindle there is no reason to use 2 hands. However, no reason not to use both hands when reading if that is your preference.

Question:	how do I remove the kindle from the case
Answer:	I have not measured but I think the other answer of 0.5 inch is an overestimate. The grooves do not cover anything on my tablet screen. They are deep enough to stop the tablet from sliding forward from the bottom, but not deep enough to stop the tablet from tipping forward from the top. I tend to sit this on my lap and if I shift in a way that tips the pillow barely out of perpendicular, the tablet tips forward.

Answer:	There is a HUGE difference, the iPad charger is 12W, 5.2V, 2.4A where the iPhone is 5W, 5V, 1A. I have personally fried a Android phone accidentally plugging it into my iPad charger. So, I would be careful using the iPad charger. The iPhone charger is okay to use as a substitute.

Answer:	You probably just used a charger that was higher that 5W/1A, which is as low as they go. Most chargers will adapt to the device, or vice versa, but if a Kindle somehow can't handle a higher rated charger, then it's a POS, because this adapter is worth $3, tops, in 2018. It's the most generic kind there is -- it is literally the same, EXACT cheap adapter that comes with EVERY Amazon Echo, FireTV, Kindle, or Fire Tablet. So, if your gonna get waste $20 on one, you might as well spend the extra 5-20, to get an Echo, Dot or Fire Stick and use that adapter for your fragile Kindle, then use ANY other adapter (even the USB port on the back of your TV, for a FireTV Stick) to power the $20 off device you just got.
