Answer:	The description to the one you are asking about (3-port, New version) says: "Supports up to a 1080p resolution and deep color" The description to the 3-port, Old version, says it goes to 4K. It does not, I tried it, and it did not work at all with a PS4 or PS4 Pro.

Answer:	Yes, if the speakers are built into your monitor/TV then there should be a jack close to the VGA video connector to plug the audio connector into. If you have separate speakers then they would need to be powered and should have the correct audio jack to plug into. Your PC may not have enough sound for unpowered speakers but you can try it as it shouldn't harm anything.

Answer:	Yes. That is why I ordered THIS cable. 15 lines wired, none common.

Answer:	Yes, in the cable I purchased, all 15 pins were wired individually straight-through. That is SPECIFICALLY the reason I bought THIS particular cable, since I am not using it for VGA. (I cut mine in half, soldered DB-9 connectors on the open ends, and used it to make 2 communications controller cables for Yaesu radio repeaters.)
