Answer:	I do believe you can. I'm a Mac user so I use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone my drives and it worked with that. I do use PCs as well, and there are several cloning programs that can do the same thing, I just can't remember them as I'm here at work. I did use one of them to clone my desktop drive to an SSD drive and it worked perfectly.
Question:	While listed as only for a 2.5 HDD, has anyone tested this on a Desktop 3.5 HDD
Answer:	This will not work on a 3.5 drive. The USB power supply is 5V. The 2.5 drives only use a 5V power rail, which is why this works on them. 3.5 drives have a 12V power rail, along with the 5V power rail. To run a 3.5 drive, you need an external 12V power supply. There are interfaces that come with it.

Answer:	I have used this cable in my car's stereo USB input. One Type A connector was plugged into the USB port and the other connector to a cigarette lighter USB power adapter. However, there are two USB A type connectors in case a single port is underpowered. Question:	Does this work to connect any RS232 device? I have a satellite receiver that uses RS232 and I need to connect it to my PC
Answer:	RS232 adapters are notoriously tricky. I went through four different ones and some work on some devices and not on others. A big problem seems to be with the USB port on the computer recognizing that it's there. This is the most reliable one I have. All of these products include a driver CD, but I did not have use it with this one. I can't say whether it will positively work with your DVD application, but this has worked with more devices than any other one I own. Amazon's return policy is great. No hassles no arguments. So try and and if it doesn't work return it.

Question:	Will a web cam work at the end of 2 of these connected as described without loss of video
Answer:	yes, i have used 2 together successfully with logitech c920 webcam without the auxiliary power to the usb cable and video displayed same as a direct connection to my laptop. I have used these a number of times for classroom and auditorium webinars. One cable did fail on me one time, but replaced it an all working well. You might want to keep a spare if you are doing something that is critical to a live broadcast. That is true of any hardware, not just this product. I will buy more of these as the need arises. I once bought a usb 2.0 version by mistake, instead of 3.0 usb, and that also worked fine, but the 3.0 would be the one to get for better bandwidth.

Question:	Can you use this to connect an external hard drive to a DirecTV box
Answer:	You would need the U25D for the DMR part it would increase the range of the hotspot but your HT wouldn't reach the hotspot in other words you would hear the hot spot but the hotspot wouldn't hear you so it would never activate also the emissions would be high around the hotspot you would be better off changing antennas on both for high gain antennas.
Question:	does anyone know if this works with G-Technology drives
Answer:	Yes. The ctcss tones are already in the fm signal by the time it gets to this amp for transmit. For receive the receiver preamp similarly cannot strip off the ctcss either. It passes ctcss in both directions.

Answer:	This is an amplifier for transmission only. So it will not help a scanner.

While most hard drives nowadays automatically park the head when power is lost, if you're referring to a hard drive from the 80's....it might not. The answer to that question is specific to the hard drive model you're referring to... And we don't know what model that is.
Question:	This device, USB3SSATAIDE, does not show a power brick/ac adaptor. The content list also doesn't mention it. Is there one that comes with it
Answer:	It indeed does come with a power brick since the 5mA supplied by typical USB ports may not be enough specially at times of heavy I/O and spin ups on 3.5" IDE Hard Drives.
