Answer:	They are very easy to shorten. The banana plugs are attached to the wires with compression screws and the cable pants will slide right off. These cables are awesome for the price by the way.

Answer:	I tried but couldn't figure it out. They are great cables though. For my speakers, I use InstallGear 14 Gauge AWG 100ft Speaker Wire Cable - White, available at Amazon. I used AmazonBasics Speaker Connector Banana Plugs - 6 pairs for my banana plug connections. It was an inexpensive option that allows me to make a couple of sets of cables and the sound is great.

Answer:	They are NOT THE SAME! The ATX24pin are 3.0mm as well as the GPU 8pin. The SATA are 2-2.5 mm. I bought 3.0 and 2.0 mm combs white/clear to make the cables lay perfectly.

Please make sure you never use a cable ment for a different brand. They all put 5v and 12v and grounds in different spots on the "supply side" and you could permanently damage your system beyond repair.
