For example, the center of the lens of my Nikon D3200 would be 3 3/8 inches below the center of the ring. In addition you would not have any adjustment in and out for camera balance. Answer:	I have 8 sets of these and I have absolutely no idea why the enclosed screws and allen key are included. I just assume they are for something that is beyond my imagination or use model.

Answer:	Most generally, it holds the ball head together. That is, if you were to continue loosening the hex screw, it would come clear out of its hole, and the base of the ball head would be free to come out of its socket. Furthermore, the top of the ball head would be able to pass out through the base as well. Secondarily, by suspending the base more centrally, it allows tension applied via the knob to be more evenly distributed. (In effect, when the hex screw is screwed in further, you have to tighten the knob less to lock the ball joint (securely) in place).

Answer:	I have used a 64 Gb and 256Gb micro SD card (Samsung 256GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSDXC EVO Select Memory Card). My Windows 7 would only format a 32Gb partition with FAT 32. HOWEVER, if you put the larger cards in the camera and use the "Format" option in the settings menu, it will format them so that the entire card is available to write to. By my calculations, the 256Gb will hold over 30 hours of video (30 hours each for both cameras).

Question:	On a dodge caravan, how did you run the wire the length of the van without it showing
Answer:	I installed on a pickup truck. Attached the camera to the license plate and got power from the tail lights. Ran the video wire under the bed protection to the cab; followed the truck's diver to the door, and into the overlap of the interior door frame panel. Followed the path inside the panels to the dash, and mounted the monitor on the dash. Got power to monitor by wiring from switch under the dash and into the interior panels. The interior panels are just screw on, so loosen those and tuck the wires in.
