Answer: I dont know even if the iBook cable/connector is IDE, had you ever switched IDE drives over the years? They dont tend to last long. yes the yellow, blue green black are power. there use to be a place in Minneapolis that repaired mac classics to power pcs. I am guessing the iBook no longer boots. Without seeing the drive, I would have no idea what kind it was, back in those days everything mac was propitiatory. yes there is an IDE cable, but wonders if you can get it to spin up? If you have a junk PC, you can open that up, connect the ide power to your Ibook drive and see it spins up. If it does, you can see if you can see the files if you boot into windows and then plug in the iBook drive after BOOT, if the IDE connector fits. But this advice is at your own risk, and if you never backed the device up, I am not sure the drive would be any good. sorry that I do not have better news.
