Answer:	If your wifi extender is set to allow connections to your main access point via the Ethernet port, then yes. It will work just like any other Ethernet cable. If you have tried a different cable and it did not work, your extender is either not setup properly to allow this or it is not capable of it.

Answer:	5/8" is the size From One end to Prong, I Drilled a 3/4" Hole and it was just fin. However, if you want to be more precise, I would recommend drilling a 9/16" Hole.
Question:	Is there really a thing called cat 8 Ethernet
Answer:	Cat 8 is real, it is recognized by TIA/EIA and is designed for data centers. That being said I highly doubt this cable is really Cat 8 considering the gauge is way too small compared to real Cat 8 that runs 22 gauge wires. not to mention that the spec for Cat 8 connectors are not these, these are Cat 7 (not recognized by TIA/EIA BTW, only by ISO/IEC) connectors. This cable seems to be a mix of Cat 6 and Cat 7 and not true Cat 8.

But to answer your question, it would be stable in your lap, but the cover itself wont be stable in covering your ipad when it’s closed. It doesn’t stick on the ipad properly. I do not know if i just got a bad one, but that was my experience with this case.

Answer:	You should use Plenum rated cable for any runs in air to minimize toxic fumes in a fire. However, it's also a bad idea to run in vents that are giving out heat/cold air. Use the air return ducts instead. In the winter, the heat from the furnace will warm up the cable and you will get packet loss. You may experience drops in games or video streaming.
