Answer:	You don't need plenum cable to run through walls and floors... you can use riser cables for this. Plenum cables are only needed when you are going through air spaces for ventilation systems or HVAC. I do not know if these cables are riser or plenum rate... I was only responding to a previous answer.

Answer:	I have used the 2ft SlimRun patch cables To complete camera runs pulling 7.5 Watts from 200ft - 250ft from keystone jack to camera from termination point to NVR. I have also used them over the same distance to access points pulling about 9watts. I have some PTZ cameras pulling about 18watts but the extra power comes from injector boosters in-line across heavier gauge cat6 cable & the SlimRun doesn’t come into play with the extra POE requirements. I am very happy with these patch cables as they keep the rack looking very clean & professional looking.

Answer:	I've purchased this cables its slim run awesome fast works and isn't missing any of the 8 wires they are there. you know cat cables have 4 pairs of wires in each pair one wire is a solid colored And the other wire is white with a stripe of color. the picture shows all 8 wire only its easy to see the solid color wires compared to the 4 white wires in between them. I use this wire with Cisco Poe switch that pushes out +56v to power up 5v - 48v devices over +100ft ranges sure just fine. My devices aren't current hungry so what works for me might not for someone else. Anything is possible but you won't know until you try. So before any drops Run some tests with the 1000' wire in the box, Terminate both ends of the 1000' ft and connect one end to something like a regulated linear dc power supply and the other end to a multi meter along with your device.what its drawing? Need to compensate for voltage drop. cable getting hot?. dont be a sheep Just Do It

Answer:	The packaging states that they are UL passed.TIA verified. Which assuming packaging is being truthful must mean that they are not CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum.) CCA cables would break extremely easily upon bending or plugging/unplugging cables more than a time or 2. They do appear to be copper at the terminal ends and short of taking the time to cut one open, unstranding all the wires and slicing into each of them and stripping them down to visually inspect them under a microscope... I'd have to go with copper. And not copper clad. Just one aholes opinion tho. :)

Answer:	Yes, I would say they are quite flexible, at least compared to some "cheaper" cables I've used which seem to have a more stiff outer jacket. These have the softer (PVC I presume) outer insulation, though you make me wonder if CAT 6 cables have tighter twisting of the pairs than CAT5, making them a little stiffer.

Answer:	The patch cable is the same thing your currently using. It's called a "Patch" cable simply because it comes with the ends already attached just like your current one. Patch cables are what you receive anytime you buy a network cable with the two male plugs already attached. Usually cables bought in bulk lengths are not referred to as patch cable because they don't come with the male ends attached. That way you can use custom lengths, make your own patch cables out of it or use it to wire a network jack. All that being said, I would recommend buying the new cat7 cable since its around the same price. The speeds are still the same (10gb) as cat6 however, it has a much higher mhz rating. Lastly, I would recommend getting them in a flat cable if you're needing more flexibility.

Question:	Are CAT6 cables like this noticeably stiffer and less flexible than CAT5E
Answer:	The manufacturing process of cat6 makes them a bit stiffer and thicker. They are still 24g UTP cable just wrapped tighter (hence the extra stiffness) and have an isolator between pairs causing a bit bulkier stature. They can be bent as much/less as any cat 3-6 cable can be so there are no limitations between them.
Question:	Which TIA wiring standard? T568A or T568B

Answer:	I bought this cable to patch a 50 ft cable that had it's clip broken, I glued the broken end into a female adapter then plugged the new coard in to my router. The cable is a cat 6 which delivers double the speed of a cat five. CAT6 Speed. Because CAT6 cables perform up to 250 MHz which is more than twice that of CAT5e cables (100 Mhz), they offer speeds up to 10GBASE-T or 10-Gigabit Ethernet, whereas CAT5e cables can support up to 1GBASE-T or 1-Gigabit Ethernet. 10 Gigabit Ethernet speed 10 Gbit/s = 1250 Megabytes per second.
