Answer:	The crotch lining seems to be of the same material as the rest of the panty: 95% cotton and 5% elastin.

Answer:	No. I've bought 20 pairs in 3 sizes over 18 months (losing weight) and I wash the light ones on hot with the light colors and the black ones with the jeans. I always tumble dry on hot. I have not had any shrinkage at all. (Nor unraveling, since I see others mentioning that.)
