Answer:	Drivers not necessary. it's just a speaker with a headphone style jack on one end and a very short power cord. The power cord plugs into a round jack on the back of the dell monitor. If you don't have a compatible monitor, you won't have this round power port and the speaker will or power on.

Answer:	I can't even get mine to swap connections by unplugging the aux cord. This will function only as either or, not both nor even easily swappable between both. Answer:	Most likely since the maker is saying to not exceed 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60 degrees Celsius) within the car. My earbuds have the same problem, when I turn off my music and there's still residual power left in them. The cables you have must not be well shielded and are picking up on a radio frequency in your area, as the cables can act like antennas. Since you are the only one who seems to have this problem, I would think that it's probably just a problem with the wires. It may be safe to get a replacement for the whole thing. If you don't want to bother, see if a better set of cables will help.
