Answer:	All HP "OMEN" are gaming laptops. All general gaming laptops are designed to suck cool air from the bottom and exhaust the heated air at the rear. If your laptop's air circulation "does not" function like this, then you do not have a gaming laptop and this GT300 does not benefit for you, as the pictures provided by the manufacturer/seller, ok! To answer your 2nd "very" good question there, the manufacturer do provide 2 pieces of plastic thing-ma-jig that came with an adhesive at one end so you can stick it on the "marked" spot on the GT300, so that, when your gaming laptop exhausts super OCed heated air out its rear, the GT300's cool air intake is just right below your exhaust, too, so having those 2 plastic pieces on their marked spots, the heated air can be DIVERTED upward and it won't be sucked in by the GT300's intake. Get the picture, now ^^ This GT300 laptop fan is REALLY worth every penny spent and in the end, your over-heated OCed gaming laptop will thank you many many years later ^^ TRUST ME :)

Answer:	There are 2 rubber ring in the package, and the size of the rubber ring for the 14/15-inch laptop is 307*209mm, which has been assembled on the product. There is also a rubber ring size of 342*228mm for a laptop with a size of 17-inch or more. Users who need a 17-inch rubber ring can replace it by themselves. The replacement method is simple.
Question:	can a stand alone usb charger that plugs into a household outlet be used, and if so what power specs should it meet
Answer:	It works really well for my predator helios 300. As long as your laptop breaths from the bottom it will work. I have found the biggest benefit is the dust filter. As this unit doesnt produce an overwhelming amount of air it just allows your normal bottom breathing cooler to finally work as intended in a dust free environment. I will warn though, once you have this base it will no longer be lap friendly. It is freaking huge. Worth it for the 15c drop.
Question:	Can this be used without the subwoofer
Answer:	This GT300 model was engineered & designed to "suck" cool air from the rear dust filtered grill and then while your gaming laptop is sat heavily on the soft rubber seal on top, your laptop's bottom grills will suck in the GT300's cool air to cool down its heat pipes, and then exhausted at the rear of your gaming laptop. However, when it's in your hands, if you wish to MOD it to "blow" air out its rear, you are always more than welcome to experience on that idea, but do "tell" me your miraculous results, ok ;p

Question:	Do these speakers have a "power saving mode"? I've heard that they go into standby after a short while of not playing any sound
Answer:	My 2 cents: It's not mentioned in the user manual I got with mine a few days ago. I'm in the USA. I do not notice any delay on music start up if the speakers are turned on. I keep my MacBook's AUX output volume nearly at max. However, I do notice a about 2 or 3 second delay when (1) the speaker power is turned completely off (using the volume control), then (2) turn the speakers on while music is being output from the computer. In another test, I let the speakers sit idle for 15 minutes, then started playing music. Again, no delay. Also, the brightness of the volume control LED did not change in brightness. Perhaps the "power saving" mode is to ensure the speakers draw no power while turned off and plugged into an ac outlet. Many modern electrical devices are drawing a small amount of electricity to power a clock (like on a microwave) or an LED TV on "stand by".
Question:	What is the length of the cable between the two speakers
Answer:	Looks like about 58" (with one section in my cable routing hard to get exact measurement, so may be 1" or 2" off). It has a standard RCA plug on the end, so extensions are cheap. Plug hard-wired at one end, RCA plug at the powered speaker end. Plugs in back, so has a short 90 degree turn.
Question:	What is the difference between these T20's and the T40's? Are the T40's worth the extra
Answer:	The T40's will produce more bass & has a higher wattage output 32 vs. 28. Not worth the extra money (almost double the price) as the T20's go on sale a lot vs. the T40's. You're picking-up an additional 2.5" driver basically.

Answer:	I need to correct my previous comment. I purchased these after being assured that it could be returned. Upon hooking them up and checking and rechecking all my connections, I found one speaker to be much louder than the other, to the point I could only hear the other speaker by putting my ear against it. So I started the process to return it only to be told the following: " As the item is categorized, as Not Returnable (Hazardous Material), I'm unable to generate a return mail label or arrange for a return. As the item is defective, please let me know if the item is repairable. If we can't repair the item, I can help you with a replacement or a refund." I was told to take it to a local store to have it repaired. Since I live in a small rural town (liquor store, mini market, beauty shop) with no store to repair it, Amazon gave me option of replacement or refund. Amazon gets 5 stars from this small town girl who relies on Amazon for her shopping needs.
