How to use it on PS4?

1. Please test it with your cell-phone before apply the headset on your PS4, to make sure it works well.

2. Insert the headset with 3.5mm jack plug into the Gamepad

3. Then long press the PS4 button or enter the System Settings, there is a peripheral machines choose "Adjust Sound and Devices", "Output to the headphones", then change it to "All audio". If you have the audio on the "All Audio" setting you can, but if it's set to "Chat Audio" you can only hear form the side with the mic.

Answer:	There is NO mic on these headphones, built-in or otherwise. Since I do not use these headphones with my phone, I can not say IF the volume control works on them either. When I have these plugged-in to my TV/computer monitor, I use a "mini pre-amp" to control the volume. Hope this helps...

Also don't forget to switch off the mute button on the audio cable. : ) And also try to turn off all the devices and restart again to see if it makes a difference. Answer:	I've owned for several months, and am still very happy with it. Mic quality is still great, my D2 clan mates are very pleased with it's performance, especially compared to my previous headset, lol. The wire is actually a bit long for my taste, not sure why 6ft is necessary, but I haven't had any issues with it. The headset can feel a bit heavy after long play sessions, but it's super cushy, so that helps. I shave my head, so most headsets end up digging into my scalp and becoming very uncomfortable after only a short period of time, but this one stays comfy even after several straight hours of playtime. Sound quality is GREAT. On par with much more expensive Turtle Beach headsets that I've owned in the past.

Answer:	You have to remove the locking mechanism by opening up the ear cup. Once done, you can use any cable you want with a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter. This can also be done on any mid-range headphone with a locking mechanism such as the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x, Sennheiser HD 558, and the like. Just be careful during the process. :)
Question:	Does this have better quality than the Antlion Modmic
Answer:	I own both the Antlion ModMic and the V-Moda Boom Pro. The V-Moda is an Omni-Directional mic and the Antlion comes in both omni-directional and uni-directional configurations. The frequency response from an omni-directional is better than uni-directional. The uni-directional will have better background noise cancellation but the voice quality will suffer a bit. The Antlion omni and the V-Moda sound almost identical in sound quality. I like that the ModMic can be used with any pair of headphones while the V-Moda has to be used with headphones that have a removable 3.5mm cable. The V-Moda also has volume control and mute switch as well, the ModMic only had a mute switch. Sound quality is honestly too close to call. Both are excellent. Pick which one works best with the headphones you want to use. Hope this helps!

Answer:	The mic mute button always stays lit. The color of the lite changes. The earphones should unmute, if you hit the button again. Your computer should indicate whether or not the mute is on for the earphones. It's worth noting that the buttons for the headphones work with your system sound. Some apps, such as web browser, have their own sound settings. You can fiddle with your computer to get all of these audio pieces working together.
Question:	I have Windows 10 and the microphone will not connect. I have tried troubleshooting and now I'm getting frustrated and about to return it. Tips
Answer:	I had no trouble using the USB connection. It took Win 10 about 30 seconds to find it, install a driver, and good to go. I did not try using the 3.5 mm connection to my computer. It works great. You may have a defective unit. Bummer and a hassle, but that's what returns are for.
Question:	Does it block backaround noise well
Answer:	The "Noise Reduction" feature is simply referring to the ability to turn down the volume in line. There is no noise reduction logic like with many higher quality headsets, and the mic is completely non-directional. I listened to the mic through the headset speakers using device settings in windows, and could hear quiet mouse clicks, tapping my finger on my computer, table, or chair, and key clicks. *much louder* than they actually were. Despite having a boom mic, these noises were happening on the opposite side of the hole in the boom, several feet away.
Question:	I can't hear myself through the mic. I know other people can hear me through the mic. Any thoughts
Answer:	It is 100% percent normal and desirable to hear yourself through a mic on a headset designed for phone calls (Skype, etc.) as this one is. The cheap $30 Logitech headset commonly found on Amazon (a competitor to this MPow device) has this behavior by default. I decided to try this MPow headset because the $30 Logitech headsets crap out after a few years. Anyway, imagine you are in a phone call with perfectly sealed headphones that only allow you to hear the other caller, not yourself. This is very annoying. I can hear my own voice only from whatever muffled sound can penetrate through the ear pads. This has the tendency to make me speak even louder so I can hear myself, and I end up yelling. I did try the Listen to This Device" tic box under the Windows 10 control panel for the microphone, and it resulted in unacceptable feedback, so I am still searching for the right settings to make it work.

Answer:	It'll work but (1) the audio quality from the headphones isn't as good as from dedicated headphones, and (2) it's not clear why you'd need the microphone functionality for YouTube (unless you're making your own videos, in which case it would be OK). I use it for Skype, and it's OK, balancing nicely between the mediocre sound quality of most Skype conversations and the mediocre quality of this unit. For the price, it's just fine... But don't expect amazing audio at this price point.
