Answer:	Yes, of course. You don't need a halogen bulb, incandescent bulb or, if you wanna save on your electrical bill, dimmable LED bulb is good enough for this device.

Answer:	Its no trouble, like turning off the light. Before going to bed, I will set the light to the level of brightness I want to start my dim, and press the alarm button - a matter of seconds. It saves your preference, so it knows the dim times, the noise you want to wake up to, and the time you want full brightness and the alarm sound to turn on. No trouble at all!
Question:	Does this have powered channels or does it require an amplifier
Answer:	I've only been able to turn off the display when I set the alarm (it turns off after alarm is set). If it is a weekend and I want to sleep in without setting the alarm, I have to put electricians tape over the display or unplug the clock entirely. The front display (not the sunrise light) uses white LEDs that light up the room, which are a bad color choice for trying to sleep. Dim red would have been better.
Question:	What type of batteries does it take
Answer:	No snooze, but does have three alarm settings.

Answer:	I don’t see anything in the manual that advises that you can make that change.

Answer:	I wish I could answer your question, I orig bought as a gift, plugged it in and didn’t notice what you are experiencing then I gave it as a gift. Best suggestion I could you is contact Amazon who can call or email the manufacturer of what to do or you at this time unplug it and plug it back in, follow directions. Possibly a minor problem, don’t know. You can return it at no charge and Amazon will send you another one. Wish I could better assist you.

Answer:	The RM230LSR is equipped with 2 side buttons for easy right or left-handed operation of the light. A single button at the bottom for the red laser. For the light: 1. press either side button once for 100%. 2. Press second time for 20%. 3. Press the button a third time to turn off. For the laser: 1. Press bottom/center button once to turn on laser. 2. Press bottom/center button again to turn off the laser. While you are in High, Low or Laser mode, the defensive strobe light mode can be instantly activated by double-tapping one of the side buttons. Press the button once again to turn it off.
