| Answer: | It does and doesn't. High volume I back off on knob( my deck goes to 50, at 30 l turn down from 50 percent to 30 or less depending on quality of song being played( mp3, cd which is ultimate, pandora ect). Handy as shit if mount knob by steering wheel, if just casual listening leave around 1/3, want to shake some shit hard ( 1/2- I run 1500 dz orion amp with massive hippo12" - rms 2000 watt). In my opinion it fixes shitty pandora song quality ( some are shitty anyway) adding punch when its missing. You can over do it, turn knob full out at 1/3 volume with any decent amount of amplification (500 watts rms +) and your clipping/ distorted. But if mounted in handy spot easy to tune by ear to get max bass ( I'm running 2/3 on gain/ orion, 1/3 max on synthesizer and 1 to 2 on deck for sub level, bass boost on amp maybe 1/4)- sounds very good..This will make mirrors non usable/blurred. Not a fix all product, still need commonsense to tune but nice tool to boost lows where actual song/format is lacking. I am happy with purchase after 4 months of use. Easy to twist knob up when you want to impress and back off when relaxing/interstate driving. All in all I give it 4.5 out of 5. |

While the output sound is increased, this little jewel enhances and creates sub harmonic frequencies below 60Hz allowing you to tune optimum punch from your sub-woofer setup. I have used this with both sealed and ported box but my personal preference is a sealed 12 inch enclosure. |
