| Answer: | I can give you a brief one as I've been using this for a little over a month and don't have the backup camera installed yet (too hot to work on it). For my purposes, it's reasonably good for a sub-$150 camera. The front camera is able to pickup license plates of cars in front (and they are clear) and has a good angle of view. The interior camera enables almost the entire cabin of my Chevy Cobalt to be seen, getting driver, passenger, and rear seats in frame. Note that I rarely drive at night and it's usually under a lot of streetlights so I haven't really tested its night vision capabilities so I can't speak to that. I'm happy with it for what it is as this was my first dashcam and didn't want to spend a lot on it - the cabin and backup cameras are a bonus. I did buy a 2nd dashcam and put it in my rear mirror as I didn't want to use the backup camera all of the time. |

It is like advice from a 10 yearold. Worst tech support ever! I'm a trained windows tech with an advanced understanding of networking and I can not figure out why they are not communicating. | Answer: | Audio not available on theses, Since it is WI-Fi and cloud based you can add as man y as you would like its just a matter of how much cloud space you want to pay for. I suggest you spend a little more and get a system with a DVR and you can store and keep what you want. Cloud service makes you hostage to the owner, you don't pay you can't retrieve.., I also think there could be some privacy issues (who can see what's being recorded and stored?) I did purchase these and wish I had not. |

| Answer: | The system is rated IP67, but surprisingly recommends that you 'waterproof' the junction where the power supply connects to the camera. I installed our cameras under an eave, and put the power supply where water might touch it, but not soak it. I wrapped the connection in a decent tape. I've had one of these outside, unsheltered for about three months. The power supply looks 'potted', that is well sealed. |

| Answer: | I have these and the internal ones, too. They work great. These cameras ARE wireless. Wireless is an industry term referring to a network connection or radio transmission. It has nothing to do with power supply. wire·less wī(ə)rləs/Submit adjective 1.using radio, microwaves, etc. (as opposed to wires or cables) to transmit signals. "wireless broadband" noun 1.broadcasting, computer networking, or other communication using radio signals, microwaves, etc. You will still need 115VA-120VA power within the 6 ft to supply the 5V/1A power block or an extension if further away. If you are looking for a wire-free camera you will need something like an ARLO system. They work great but you will have to replace batteries based on the activity in the area being recorded. Some of mine would last 2 months, but most lasted about 2 weeks. The batteries are expensive. I tried the rechargeables, but they do not last as long. Arlo cameras a great for remote locations. |

| Answer: | Realistic is relative term when you have a camera that alter the space in order to have a wide angle. If you use the camera for slow move ( parking) and also have good and learned point of reference ( the grid lines are quite good) then you can aproximate pretty well the margins of the car and what movement you can do or not . To be more explicit: i mounted three cameras on the front of the car :), and they are still not enough:). That means the wide angle is not so wide... To are mounted near the fog lamp exacly in front of the wheel. Now ! What is important for a relevant image on display is the following: 1 the camera looks forward but also catches the most forefront point of my A4 front bumper . It also has activated the grid lines. Knowing that the camera is exactly in front of my wheell, seeing also the most front point of the car and having also the grid lines I have a pretty good understanding of the space infront of my car. Which is very fine at slow speed . During the drive on highway , if i look on display is a total disaster :) and sure accident , but not because of the camera but because of the ANGLE i mounted the camera . Anyway is halpful to know where the wheel is , but again at high speed is dangerous to rely on the camera because of the very fast change of the image and un-natural perspective. For parking purposes i found this camera quite good but not as good as cameras from a surround view (top view) systems.if you want high quality camera maybe you shoud spend more money but I cannot say what brand or type to choose . This camera for the money is very good having in mind that a surround system is about 5-600 usd ... And uses indeed very wide angle cameras ... In conclusion the image is quite realistic but you need to have also some reference points on display and to practice a little the movement in order to understand what means 5 mm on display , how many cm are in reality in the real field of the camera . For the money you spend this is a quite good camera , even in low light ... But only for parking purposes... |
