Answer:	Works fine with Ipad but only certain apps can be mirrored on tv per the restrictions the companies have put on their apps. We mirror the Netflix app all the time and it works great. As for other brands, I am not certain. The manual states for ipod/iphones/ipad. So I would think it would only be for Apple products.

It effectively becomes a 'drive' at that point.I backed up EVERYTHING from the player to its own folder (just in case I needed to reinstall, et.).I then deleted the preloaded music, etc. and then began to add music to the Music folder.You could use Windows Media Player (sorry-am a PC person so can't address the equivalent for Mac!).However, I just used a normal file manager (am old school): I opened my Amazon music folder on my PC (where I keep my MP3s) and copied them over to the mp3 player.As far as playback- it will do so in alphabetical order of artist (I think)- so Bruce Springsteen and Beyonce will play consecutively.To get around that: if you want the equivalent of playlists- you need to 1) create a folder for the files & put the files there, and 2) rename the files with a precursor number to order the airplay in the desired order. A bit tedious on initial setup, but it's not terrible, either.There may be much easier ways to do this! ha! - but this worked for me.I swim laps (3000 yds 3 x week) and this device performs flawlessly. To me, it makes the workouts so much easier that I'm willing to put up with a bit of file management tedium on the initial setup.
