Answer:	They should work just fine. IR technology hasn't changed in 10 years or so. Any DVD player with a wireless IR transmitor will work fine with these. Simply put: if you were previously using wireless headphones with your dvd player, these will also work. We have enjoyed them. We bought four almost two years ago, and they are still going strong. Much better than the factory ones that junked out in the first few months.
