Answer:	I put a Rockford 1000 watt Marine amp with this and it did fine. This is with 4 other marine kicker speakers. However, I am adding a 600 watt amp for this sub and may add an additional sub same size. I think if you get a dedicated sub amp between 400 and 600 amps, you will be rockin.

Answer:	Yoou can use my own setup, cheap but can handle the power to run this tiny beast. Kicker CX 400.1 Class D for amplifier and Belva 8 Gauge 2-Channel [BAK 82]. Everything coast me around $270.
