Answer:	Nick, the sub requires 0.625 cubic feet (17.7L) of volume, equivalent to a box of 17.875 x 11 x 9 inches (height-width-depth) for a sealed enclosure. If you lack the depth you will have to make up for the volume by adjusting height and width. Mounting depth is 5.93 inches, however, so it looks like that box wouldn't be capable of housing the sub.

Answer:	I have never regretted purchasing any JL Audio product, for what it's worth. I still currently run a 10W7 and a JL Audio 500/1 amp for it, in my car and I love the setup! I still wish we owned THIS subwoofer (JL 10w3v3) and had it in my wife's car--we ended up selling the vehicle that this one was in. Hope that helps some!
