| Answer: | Stupid people shouldn’t answer. Subwoofers need specific air volume. This is way too small for any sub needing 2 cubic feet of air volume. To you saying 1.8: first you can’t include any port volume , secondly, ITS INTERNAL AIR VOLUME. NOT THR DISPLACEMENT OF THE EXTERNAL DIMENSIONS. You can’t multiply the exterior dimensions like of you have. 14x14x1/2 of 32 then divide by 1728. Idiots. Measure the interior dimensions, not the port. These prefabs are tuned ridiculously too high. When you play anything slowed or bassed, your cone will be uncontrollable flop city. Enjoy that. When you blow the sub in less than a month DO watch a YouTube video and build a sun either sealed or tuned to 25Hz. |

| Answer: | I've used it temporarily on the sealed enclosure version of these. BOSS amps are cheap for a reason though. Poor sound quality and it doesn't push anywhere near the 1000 watts these can handle. If you want a cheap amp that actually sounds good I'd recommend the Power Acoustik rzr1-2500d it's not 1000 watts RMS but it'll do 700+ on good electrical & sounds Way better than the boss amp |

| Answer: | The mount depth is really close, I wouldn't get this box for a sundown x12. The x 12 mount depth is 9.67 inches and you have about 10 inches of usable space. You need more space behind the motor than that but you could make a spacer to make it work but that woul be ghetto. Hit up Starr Mountain Sound for a custom box and you will not regret it! His prices are reasonable. |
