Answer:	There is NO WAY this is submersible. I took mine apart to fix the bussing sound (airleak from center oval passive radiator). There is only a thin foam to keep water from electronics. Maybe from a slight drizzle or humidity from shiwer but I'd put money down it shorts out if dropped in water for more than a few secs.

Answer:	The mount depth is really close, I wouldn't get this box for a sundown x12. The x 12 mount depth is 9.67 inches and you have about 10 inches of usable space. You need more space behind the motor than that but you could make a spacer to make it work but that woul be ghetto. Hit up Starr Mountain Sound for a custom box and you will not regret it! His prices are reasonable.
