Question:	So this is my first time getting a sub and it’s all in one which is nice what do i need exactly i got the wiring kit 8 gauge and rca adapter
Answer:	You need to run a solid copper ground wire, at least as thick AWG as the power wire (sounds like you’re using 8 AWG), from the sub’s ground input to your vehicle chassis. Make sure the ground point is good (use a multimeter to test). You may need to grind some paint off a metal surface to create a solid ground to the chassis. Run your power cable from the battery to the sub. Use a 75amp fuse on this run. Connect the fuse closer to the battery than the sub. Run an additional, very thin gauge wire (such as 18) to the amp turn on of the sub input. This wire controls power to the sub , so you don’t want it always on because that would drain your battery. You can hook up your car’s antenna 12v to this sub turn on, for example, since the car automatically turns off power to the antenna. The RCA you can either run from some existing speakers using a LOC or run the RCA connected directly to your head unit (stereo). In my Mustang, I used a LOC to connect the sub directly to my rear speakers in the trunk. I also wired the sub turn on wire directly to my antenna turn on wire because that is also conveniently in my trunk.

Answer:	I think it is the same sub. Crutchfield has the wrong dimensions listed for the P300-12T. It is 25.8" wide. Amazon has the correct dimensions. I received mine the other day, and I was glad to see that Amazon had the correct dimensions. Amazon also has a much better price.

Answer:	It comes with the remote. I thought it didn't so I bought one for it and it already comes with it so I have two now

Answer:	I know this is late, but it may help others. Yes it does and you can tie into signal at rear speaker wires. The built in crossover will allow use of a sub woofer. Only drawback to this set up is that if you turn down head unit bass for doors ect. it also affects sub amp. HU built in crossover would be better for a balanced and more adjustable sound. This requires the HU to be upgraded however. A line output converter is a good option too even if you have low input ability. Makes for a neater install IMO. Bottom line is that it is dooable. Good amp too. Birthsheet is 648 watt @ 2 ohm 14.4 v on mine. In vehicle at idle in real life I average 629 using amp draw and voltage formula, I also own the P300-1 which pushes about 415 @ 2 ohm real life wattage. Birth sheet of 426. Banging for years in wife's ride on that one no issues. The new one rocks good so far in my ride. Love these amps. So much power for the size. Also as a D class amp they are efficient and take less away from the vehicle power system causing less strain. Bang some high power AB amps for a few years and your whooping on that alternator and battery shortening their lives. Less light dimming too.
Question:	Does this amp have an auto turn on feature so I dont have to wire up a remote turn on
Answer:	Another option in which I chose since it does need turn on signal is to use an added retained accessory power relay or just a simple relay. Your going to remove side panels to run RCA anyway so tap easily into a 12v power source when vehicle acc is on which can be found closest to amp position that is passing to rear of vehicle already. I used this one from Radio Shack. Model: 275-233 Catalog #: 2750233 0.5-AMP SPST REED RELAY AT 12VDC. This set up should be used to turn on multiple amps and relieve the head unit circuit. No tiny wire to run either. Although if this wire is just attached to RCA prior to install for a 1 amp install then this is the easiest way. If you use the relay then remember to fuse it to protect the head unit circuit.

Answer:	It has 4 awg connections for both power and ground. I am using mine with 8 awg wire and it runs perfect. I am not running it at max gain though. Only using it to run one 10" L7!

Answer:	Hey Michael, that sounds like a pretty good match. You may also want to consider running the amp at 2 ohms and pulling 1000 RMS from it. At 2 ohms, you won't be quite as loud, but the amp will be running cooler and will sound better.

Answer:	Hey Richard, this is a good question. Hopefully the answer isn't too confusing. The SA series 8" is rated at 500 RMS, and the 10, 12 and 15" are rated at 750. Now since all Sundown subs are conservatively rated, the 8" can actually handle more than 500 watts (of high quality power in the right enclosure). Answer:	did you test it before you put everything back in? after you wire everything you should just hook the speakers up and test them to make sure you're good... if you aren't getting any power i would check your wiring and make sure the ground is good.. and everything is up to par.. if your stereo doesn't have power either then you should make sure it's connected properly to the harness.. Make sure your wires are color matched properly.. make sure you have the right wiring harness for your car... ask the question again with more details if you haven't already fixed it.... installed these and they work beautifully
