Fundamentally, this is just a speaker that has wiring for microphones and sound inputs. You have to add the music and lyrics. I have my karaoke music on my laptop. I use the screen to show the lyrics. For the sound, I connect my laptop from the headphones jack to the speaker with a cable. I use a free karaoke software on my laptop and play songs I have uploaded from CDs I've bought. You can use this same setup but watch/play karaoke songs off of the internet if you dont want to buy music. It sounds great. I'm pleased with this setup.

Question:	Do i need an amp to power these speakers or can i use my head unit? i have a kenwood kmmbt515hd head unit
Answer:	Real deal, I bought them and installed them in my 08 explorer by building fiberglass pods in the A-pillars for the mid and tweet. They sound absolutely amazing. Not just loud, but perfectly clear at any volume. The only issue I had was the 6.5" woofer putting out too much bass and making the plastic in my doors rattle. Took care of that with a little dynamat and now it sounds perfect.

Answer:	They are the exact same speakers! Only difference is the SG model doesn't come with speaker grills. But who uses speaker grills anyways. The speakers usually are mounted behind your door card or dash so speaker grills do not fit!

Answer:	You may have to do a little fab work, but focals can withstand the weather. I have installed focals on many bikes and boats.

Answer:	It should work with the head unit they don’t need a lot of power as long as it puts out at least 25 amps a Channel
