Answer:	It should work with Windows 8 though I only used with Windows 10. If you insert a DVD and a video player does not start up, you may need a player that will recognize the drive. On a recommendation from a friend, I installed "VLC media player" and this app opens when I insert a DVD into the Riodadas player. VLC is a free and open source media player that works with all Windows versions. You can get the player here: https://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Q: How to connect the car or stereo to play?

A: There is a 3.5mm aux cord with a male plug on each end in the package. One goes into the unit the other plugs into alternative input.

Q: How to turn on the player?

A: The power switch is located on the side. Please toggle it to ON position to play normally. When a disc is played to the end or there is no disc, the player will enter a standby mode after 20 seconds. Please press the PLAY button again to restart the player.

On Sierra, I tested it against USB-c, which is the smaller port found on newer (2017 and forward) Macbook Pros. I used a USB-c to USB-a adapter to do so. It worked fine.

Answer:	Sorry for the delayed response. I've been out of town and unable to look at the stereo. It does have a USB port. If you zoom in on the picture you can see it on the front, lower face of the stereo. I'm sure it plays USB stored tunes. Not sure if this would play on your car. It does, however, have blue tooth capability, though I haven't tried to use it myself. I doubt it would BT out to your car though. Hope this helps...
