Question: | can you turn off the cross over |
Answer: | Yes, all adjustments can be made by taking off the light panel strip. You can turn off the cross-overs to run channels 1-4. The sub channel is dedicated for lower frequencies. |
Question: | is this amp vgood for compoments in front..ie tweeters 4/ 6.5component typeR/coaxial/typeR i 12 in sub |
Answer: | Yes, I have been using this amp for several years now without any problems. This 5 channels amp is hooked up to 6.5 components in the front, 6.5 3-ways speakers in the rear, along with 10" inches closed kicker box. Very impressed so far with the system. Hope this might be a little help. |
Question: | would this work well with 2x Apline type R 6 1/2 Coaxial front speakers, 2x 6x9 type R rear speakers, and 1 alpine Type R 12" sub |
Answer: | It should work fine. I'm running 4 6.5 infinity kappa speakers and one 10" jlw7 and it sounds great. |
Question: | Since Vius isn't an authorized seller, there is no warranty correct? I'm suspicious of the low price, but that's offset some by the positive reviews |
Answer: | Correct, no warranty because they are not an authorized reseller. I purchased both of my PDX amps (F6 & M12) on amazon and then added a square trade warranty for a couple bucks. Saved hundreds. Planning to do the V9 for my wife's car. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can anyone tell me, does a set of 6.5 speaker w/tweeter & crossover count as 2 or 4 channel |
Answer: | Just the handle |
Question: | what is the power output (RMS) at 8ohms |
Answer: | I don’t see anything on these spatulas or the Amazon site to show where they’re made. They are well made and sturdy, with a few things I do not like-the edge isn’t as thin as it might be and I found this made flipping things over a problem- I had to lift the edge with a fork to get the spatula under it. I also don’t like the tip of the handle is very flexible and rubbery, whet I would prefer it to be more firm. |

- Class A/B Topology - Class ‘A’ amplifiers have enormous amount of current flowing through its output transistors with no audio signal. Class ‘B’ amplifiers have no current flowing through its outputs with no audio signal
- Full Range - With a Full Range amplifier you not only have the option to run your speakers, but also your subwoofers
- Mosfet Power Supply - A MOSFET is an electrical switch that allows the flow of electrical current. It controls the output voltage and current precisely by removing the output current sensing loss & eliminating all secondary feedback circuitry
- Low & High Level Inputs - A low level (RCA) input is measured in voltages. A high level (+/- wire) input is measured in wattages. Both essentially carry signal from your receiver to your amplifier to your speakers
- Variable Bass Boost - With Variable Bass Boost you have the control of exactly how much BASS you want to pump out to your subwoofer(s)
- Bridgeable - Dramatically increase the power output to you speakers and subwoofers by connecting two amplifier channels
User questions & answers
Question: | My receiver has 4 RCA outputs. Can I run the 4 RCA outputs into this amp and run 4 coaxial speakers plus a subwoofer |
Answer: | Yes you can. There is a switch on the amp and it will take the sound from channels 3 and 4, and use it for the subwoofer.. so you dont need a 5th rca cable. |
Question: | What is the RMS |
Answer: | Taken from Google: RMS stands for root mean squared. You use RMS to tell you in part how loud the speakers are going to be, you also you its sensitivity rating.RMS also tells you the most amount of watts that you speaker can handle on a continuous basis. This is the figure you use when looking for an amplifier and powering the speaker.1000w RMS is a lot and i would be very skeptical buying any speaker that says it handles 1000w RMS, most companies that put out a speaker like that inflate their numbers by making the THD level higher so once you turn it up the signal is not clear. Also they will make it 1000w RMS but its sensitivity rating is very low such as under 80db/1w.i know i have two JL subs that are rated at 300 watts RMS each and the 600 watts it puts out is enough to make me go deaf. |
Question: | I have a kicker 10" sub with 4 ohms, but when I hook it up to the amp I get absolutely no sound out of it. The first four channels are running fine |
Answer: | There is a switch near the sub control on the amp.. direct or channel 3-4. If you do not have a sub input the switch should be set to 3-4. So it will get the sound from channels 3-4. . Hope this helped |
Question: | Will this amp be suitable for 2 pairs of Pioneer TS-A6885R Speakers 350W (60W) nominal and TS-SWX251 Subwoofer Power(Nominal)800 W (200 W |
Answer: | It is extremely important to understand Ohms law when choosing speakers. One answer on another question says it is not 2 Ohm stable. They wouldn't make the UL list if it didn't. The fifth channel is 1 channel that is 2 Ohm stable. It can handle 2 single voice coil subs wired in parralel which brings the Ohms down to 2 Ohms. I do not recommend DVC in a mono amp unless the amp is 1 Ohm Stable. If you got 2 DVC subs wired parralel would present a 1 Ohm load to your amp and blow it up. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I see two high level inputs not three. if my stereo doesnt have any rca output how can i connect the subwoofer too |
Answer: | It has a built in crossover, no need to worry about a sub-input. |
Question: | Is the Rockford R600X5 a good choice for two sets of JBL speakers (5.25 component and 6x9) rated at 75w RMS each at 2ohm AND a Sub rated at 300w RSM |
Answer: | According to their website, this would be a good choice of power for the speakers. 75wrms @ 2Ohm for each speaker and 300wrms @ 2 ohm for the sub. Make sure that the sub is 2Ohm, though. When you receive the amp it will come with a QC sheet explaining each power rating. Just make sure you tune it properly and it will work well. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/r600x5 |
Question: | does it come with whatever wires you need |
Answer: | You will need an amp install kit for the recommended gauge. |
Question: | The remote for the sub comes stock with this? I don't need to order it separate like amazon is suggesting |
