Answer:	You should be okay, I have been using them for awhile. these memories are volatile(ram), so doesn't affect when overclocking for gaming. What affects overclocking is a low speed CPU and of course you have to have some memory but the one compatible with your motherboard.

Answer:	This RAM is compatible with new iMac 2017, but it is not compatible well with Apple original RAM, if you want to upgrade RAM to 40GB by add 2 x 16GB RAM, it will make all RAM speed down to 2133MHz. If you intend to only use this RAM alone, not mix with Apple original RAM, you can buy this RAM and it is compatible with the new iMac 5K 2017. Also, my Apple original RAMs were in DIMM0 slots, system couldn't boot when I simply install Kingston RAMs to DIMM1 slots, so I swap Apple original RAMs to DIMM1 slots and Kingston RAMs to DIMM0 position, it now can boot successfully.
