Answer:	No light leakage and the padding is about a good as one could imagine coming up with. I'd like a bit more range on the focus, though, it can't quite meet my nearsightedness needs, so have to wear specs which is a bit uncomfortable for long periods.

Answer:	Yes, you need bluetooth on the PC side, in order to use the controllers. The headset display will work without them... but youll want them.

Answer:	Yes, it works great with Steam VR, but there is one very important piece of software you must download to make your WMR headset compatible with Steam VR (which also makes your headset compatible with VivePort VR games as well because they run through Steam VR!). This software is "Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR" and it is a free download and available on the Steam store. So when setting up your WMR VR headset do these 3 things and it will work with Steam VR: 1. Run the WMR setup as prompted when plugging in your headset to the PC. 2. Install Steam VR. 3. Install "Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR" from the Steam Store. That's all, and you can be playing Steam or VivePort games in no time!

Question:	I use reading glasses, will it compensate for this vision problem or can i wear reading glasses
Answer:	Absolutely. You won't have to wear your reading glasses while using the device. I had an eye injury that lead to have cataract surgery on one of my eyes, which makes the damaged eye not be able to see up close, and I can't even tell when I use the headset. You can use the focus knob to adjust the view for your vision.

Answer:	yes they can but you wont need to wear glasses... i have to wear glasses 24/7 and cant see 2 feet in front of me with out them. but with this being literally a few inches from your eyes everything is super clear. i also have a stigmatism.

Answer:	Yes it does. I have a Note 4 and I purchased the Samsung Gear VR (2016 version) and even though the Gear VR does not list the Note 4 as a compatible device, I was able to get it to work just fine. The fit of the Note 4 inside the Gear VR is kind of tight, but it works none-the-less.
Question:	Whats are the advantages of getting this new edition over the older one
Answer:	As far as I know you have three major advantages: 1) There is an aditional 'Home' button above the touch sensor on the side of the Gear, 2) It prevents light leak (at least better than the previous model) and 3) you can use it with phones that have Micro USB, and USB-C connectors. Answer:	Other than the actual model differences mentioned already:2015 Gear VR is newly released yesterday for Galaxy S6, Edge, Edge+ and Note 5. Mass market Consumer ready for the market. At online and traditional retailers for Chrismtas. (although currently sold out everywhere I looked. (I preordered 11/20 and I dont have an expectred ship date). Lighter weight, works with all the games and streaming services listed.VR Developer edition is last years 2014 model, works with the Note 4 ONLY, was $199 when introduced, and is no longer sold by Oculus. Only available thru 3rd party reseller retailers mostly at marked up prices ($350 is going rate). It is heavier, warmer on the head, phone runs hotter, but you are getting the 'first' edition if that appeals to you.
Question:	Does the consumer version have USB pass through so that you can charge your phone while you use it
Answer:	Yes it has a pass through on the bottom but is only compatible with Samsung chargers. Don't try to use it during gaming or 360 video or you'll end up all wrapped up.

Answer:	Actually, you can. if you know what you are doing. (which the other two people answering obviously dont know). You can use a mirroring app to mirror what is on your pc to your phone, so running any games meant for the oculus rift dk1/2 will still be split on the phones screen, which will then be corrected when you put on the headset. I know, i have done so with google cardboard, as well as making a phone based-Computer powered vr headset myself using UV LEDs and a webcam to be able to use head tracking, as well as an xbox 360 kinect to use movement, hand, and motion controls. So long way of saying yes, but, yes; you can use this as a monitor.

Answer:	The Samsung and other Windows MR headsets use inside-out tracking technology unlike Oculus and Vive (these use outside-in tracking). the sensors are built into headset and controllers. No base stations are needed.

Answer:	You can use it with glasses, although the smaller the glasses the better. The headset has an effective focal distance of 6 1/2 feet, so the best thing to do is to get a cheap pair of glasses with distance only vision with your best correction at 6 1/2 feet. That's what I did and it works great.

Answer:	All Mixed Reality headsets come with the same bluetooth controllers, however the Odyssey comes with improved Samsung controllers that are more ergonomic and have nicer buttons.

Answer:	Really depends on your situation. The image quality is vastly superior to the Rift. Colors are vibrant, blacks are black. My rift has terrible god rays. The odyssey has nearly none. I travel for work, so the odyssey with my Alienware laptop is perfect for travel. The rift required setting up 2 or 3 sensors and calibrating each time I wanted to play it. Got old fast. Tracking is superior with Rift. Rift controllers are better, but I think the Odyssey controllers are quite good also. No complaints.

Answer:	NO, because it works with the PS4. I don't believe the PS4 has a cooling fan and I know the VR Headset which hooks into the PS4 doesn't. We haven't had an issue with it over heating. It was a great purchase and everything looks so realistic, but you need to get headphones.

Answer:	weather resistant, I wouldn't submerge this. Maybe a light rain.

Answer:	The camera will work and the video/pictures can be off loaded from the camera to computer via a USB cable or microSD card. But you will need a Samung Galaxy phones to access the settings. If I knew this before I had bought it, I would have bought something else. The camera does take good video/pictures in 360 but the camera will overheat and shut off in 20 minutes or so, unless you find a way to heat sink it. I use a little battery operated blower for that.
Question:	I read that the 360 is waterproof rated IP68 (up to 5 feet for 30 mins), can anyone verify if this truly is the case
Answer:	I got caught with mine in a torrential downpour last summer that was so bad my pack, which is weather resistant and was closed up as tightly as possible, had puddles of water inside. My Gear 360 was sitting in water for probably 15 minutes or so. I figured it would be toast, but to my delight, it was totally fine. No condensation to be seen. I dried it off well and let it air dry before attempting to use it, but the water didn't damage it at all. I'm not sure I'd attempt to actually use it underwater, but in terms of getting caught in the rain or things like that, you should feel pretty safe with it.

Answer:	It's 25.9 MP (7200 x 3600) -- one of the highest resolutions in the consumer grade 360 camera class. They decided to drop the resolution in the newer ones to 14.4 MP. The other cameras with comparable resolution are the Nikon Keymission and the newer Kodak Pixpro Orbit, but those are like 5x more expensive.
