Question:	Can I record while the camera is charging? If I have a portable charger, could I have the camera plugged into that and still record
Answer:	I think the answers are confusing to some. Here's the scoop. You can use an external battery pack like the one you charge your Iphone with or you can plug it into a USB port or you can use the 110v adapter with USB cable plugged in. When you do those following things the camera is running off those power sources and not your battery. And yes, you can record while plugged into those external power sources. The battery will not charge when doing that and recording but that should not be a problem. Charge your battery at home. Now start recording and when your battery gets low plug into your external battery pack or USB and keep going. I own this camera and did the experiment. I use this in my car as a dash cam and it's plugged into my cigarette lighter and it runs non stop without using the battery.

Answer:	Every other GoPro supports auto rotation so I would assume this one does as well.
Question:	If you took a video in the 360 mode at 5.6K/30fps (for a vlog for example) could you export it as a 16:9 video at the same 5.6K/30fps via reframing
Answer:	You may be able to frame the 360 video it in such a way that the point of view is fixed like the traditional 16:9 video, but it is not going to be an actual 16:9 video.

Question:	I'm looking to buy this camera for sports coach,so projector is one of the main feature why I'm looking at it. Is it good, worth buying?Thanks
Answer:	I don't recall but I'm sure they have lens caps. I returned them and bought the Canon 12x36 with image stabilizer. I thought the Celestron Granite had better clarity, but with any 10x power and up, long distant viewing and holding the binocs up for any length you get the shake effect, The Canon image stabilizer is an amazing feature. While they cost more, not shaking more than makes up for the slight drop of the lens. You won't notice it. I never regretted spending the extra money for them. I also have the Celestron Skymaster (15x70). Best binocular for the money and lens quality is quite good for what I paid for them, about $70. But you need steady and strong hands, or lean against something to view. A tripod is nice for stargazing............. What was your question again ?
Question:	Can the camera charge via an outlet cord if so can one record while it is charging
Answer:	Last question first. For birding especially, the Celestron Granite 8X42 is a well crafted & well configured option. Great eye relief & ample field of view add a real edge over either 10X option (17mm eye relief on 8X, 15mm on the 10X42 & 17mm on the 10X50, with a significantly narrower FOV).
Question:	The projector with the HDMI cord, will it act as a monitor for a computer, or does it just project still images? I'm in the midst of the manual
Answer:	I have owned a pair of 10x 42 Nikon monarch 7 (500.00) and a pair of 10.5 x 45 bresser montana (1000.00) in my opinion the monarch 7 was a better pair ,the weight was half and so was the cost .I don't think celestron makes quality bino's with my past experience with them , I would go with the monarch 7's

Answer:	Depending on lighting, performances should yield good results, but sound would be less than adequate. For concerts you really need a dedicated video camera with very good directional sound capture. anything less and the sound will more, than likely, be terrible.

Answer:	The Granite is in a whole other performance category. It's a far more sophisticated, higher performing model. The image will be sharper, with images seen clearly in lower light, and images will be more colorful. You get what you pay for. I need to say that I compared the 8x42s of these two Celestron binoculars, not the 10x42s, but there was no contest that the Granite was superior. Not to say that the Nature DX isn't good for the price. There's nothing "wrong" with them. They're sharp and provide a good, basic image. But as you go up the line in price, you get better sharpness, better color, and better performance in lower light (important and dawn and dusk, when birds are most active). You also tend to get better edge to edge sharpness. The optics are more sophisticated, with better quality control, more coatings. With the Granite, images just pop in the view. I never got that sort of impression with lower priced models. A professional review compared the Granite as being close to the quality of the Nikon 7. That's close to a $500 pair of binoculars. You get what you pay for. There are binoculars that are over $1000. They will use handmade optics, use even more optic elements, be even better in all areas. They'll also be made in Japan or Germany, rather than in China or Taiwan. At the current price of about $240 for the 10x42s, that will be hard to beat.

Answer:	NO, it does not have AV1 codec as the old 1997 LGR floppy UMD PSP like disk for storage based on Microsoft's project silica as of yet for storing over 60 hours of 4k video content shot constantly or have a tv broadcast like shoot video to be uploaded directly to the cloud servers as of yet so wait a couple of years if you already have one or a smartphone before upgrading your smartphone/camcorder do i9t yourself tv broadcast hybrid camera here for shooting videos to edit for youtube on the sony big screen on adobe premiere.
Question:	Can you change / adjust the lens or is the one that comes with the product permanent
Answer:	Yes you can use something like a REDEYE .65x wide angle adapter. It needs to have a 67mm thread with it. The REDEYE lens is made in Canada, and is a much better option then the cheap Chinese lenses which are widely available. You will definitely want a high quality glass lens. This camera only goes to like 29mm on it's wide side, so a wide lens adapter might be a good idea to have with it. 16X9 inc, Century, also make quality glass,but are more pricey then the nice one I found on a big auction site. If you can find a quality lens for under $300, it would be good for your kit. Also the REDEYE has a very protective padded leather lens pouch that ships with it.
Question:	can this camera use the 4:2:2 color space, for professional broadcast
Answer:	Uh, "XAVC-S uses 4.2.0." What??? The term XAVC-S has NOTHING to do with subsampling. It's just a container, or wrapper. XAVC-S is a Sony proprietary wrapper. The codec is H.264, which of course allows for 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 depending on the recording circuitry. The circuitry and firmware in THIS PARTICULAR CAMERA only records 4:2:0 in 4k resolution up to 100Mb/s which it then "delivers" via H.264 wrapped in MP4 along with LPCM audio. But 4:2:2 or even 4:4:4 CAN be coded in H.264, using different circuitry and firmware. That has NOTHING to do with "XAVC-S." In any case, you don't necessarily "need" to SHOOT in 4:2:2 unless you are doing a lot in post, like chromakey or color processing. If you can "upsample" to 4:2:2 (usually by "downscaling" to 1080p) with software (like Premiere Pro,) then your output can be more or less 10-bit "4:2:2." That's called "broadcast quality" because no TV or monitor is perfectly calibrated to the one you're editing on--so, 10-bit (1024 levels) color provides an ample range for any given 8-bit (256 level) TV to fall into. In other words, "broadcast quality" only means "wiiiide safety margin" so far as color sampling information goes. That dates back to NTSC analog color TV--broadcast 4 times as much color information than the viewer's TV can display, so that his 4:2:0 TV will be able to catch enough color signal to still get what he will see as a "good" picture. Even in UHD digital TV, on average, 4:2:2 1080p looks "better" to the human eye than 4:2:0 4K unless the viewer is sitting with his nose touching a 65" screen) for the same reason--calibration of the display (which can vary from one area of the screen to another, let alone from one TV to another.)

Answer:	It works very well. The projector will look good at 40" or so but you need to darken the room. For instant playback of your team it will be good. Audio is from a small speaker so don't expect to much. With that said you can plug into a TV with HDMI and its great. There is an optional plug out for RCA that does not come with the camera.

Question:	what media does it record on
Answer:	It takes very good pictures within the limitations of the settings. What I mean is that, currently, you can take a photo every 5 seconds but no faster. You can also only have a 170 or 120 degree field if view. Those are good for POV but might not be narrow enough for whatever you want to photograph (like the clouds blowing over the top of a mountain).
Question:	Does this have a spot on the bottom to screw in a mini tripod
Answer:	Why? one charge is good for +120min recording? spend 30$ on an additional battery..
Question:	Does this camera have a microphone jack
Answer:	Two things to bear in mind.. 1) You cannot see the GPS logged data during playback until you upload the recorded video from the camera to your PC and use the Play Memories Home Software to create a Multi-View video which imbeds the GPS log data onto the video. 2) The speed is displayed showing the real time GPS logged speed as if it is on a speedometer as well as the average speed but bear in mind it is the speed of movement across the ground not taking into effect elevation changes, for example if you have the camera mounted on an RC airplane and are going directly vertical the GPS will see the speed as near zero even though you are flying at over 60mph straight up or down. The speed accuracy also depends heavily on how many satellites it is getting its positioning from. I took my camera with me on a road trip to and from work with it recording with the GPS logging and it seemed to be fairly accurate. I also mounted it on one of my RC airplanes and noticed during playback that if the plane was doing a steep climb or dive at well over 60+mph it showed by GPS to be only the speed horizontally across the ground. You can see some of my videos using the GPS logged data imbedded on the video with Play Memories Home software on my YouTube channel WebravagerRC just search for my channel name.
Question:	Does the viewing window rotate 360 degrees so you can use it for front-facing videos
Answer:	Battery life is much greater than the Go Pro Hero 3+ Black. In 1080p @ 60fps I average 2.5-3 hours. If you run GPS and WiFi function at the same time you will average around 1.5 hours, which is still better than the Go Pro. Batteries are easy to switch out, I bought the Wasabi kit, two batterys and a charger to use on the wall or car charger.
