Answer:	These drives are not very fast. I am on a maxed out MBP 15" from 2018 (I am a video editor) and ran BlackMagic Speed Disk Test and couldn't get over 100 MB/S read or write, and have had HDD's that are faster than that! Really pretty shocked they are this slow (and I bought them specifically bc I need fast drives for event media editing). Needless to say, I won't be buying these again.

Answer:	I'm pretty sure mine is a first gen ps4 so yes. It took me about a half hour to do the swap of hard drives. Instructions in kit are easy to follow

Today the sd cards are equal to the hard disks of old and so I just remove the sd card and use realplayer or media player to do the editing.If you prefer to use the sony pmb software then you can get it for free from Sony support.Today they are making a replacement software that is better than the old PMB one.It is a free download available since febuary of 2014.

Answer:	There is a secure digital slot for removeable memory.I record to that removeable card and copy what ever I recorded to my computer.The other way is to use the provided cable to link up the whole camera to a computer.The sd card is by far the quickest and easiest.....

Answer:	have not used in total darkness, has worked well in evening hours that is after sundown but have not tried in a dark room or dark of the night

Answer:	You don't need a docking station. Follow page 36 of the instruction manual "Preparing a computer". You need to install the PMB software. Once the PMB program is downloaded, just plug-in your camcorder to your computer using the USB cable and follow directions.
