Please charge the battery before you use the camera for the first time:

1. Connecting to USB DV 5V charger, or to the computer via USB.

2. The indicator lights would be when charging, and turn to red and blue when charging is completed ( take about 2 hours for full charging ) 

Notes:

1. If the battery is low, DV red and blue lights flash for 3 seconds, and the recorder goes off and is in protected mode, files recorded have been saved; please recharge the recorder at this time.

2. If the recorder is on but there is no card, the red and blue lights give flashes for 4seconds at the same time and the recorder automatically goes off

USB cable:

1: can be connected to the computer for recorder recharging and data transmission.

2: can be connected to external USB DV 5V for recording while charging.

1080P video without flashing: 

Press the top function button until the blue indicator tums on, the pen will start recording after the blue light flash 3times. The light would be off when the recording is going on.

Press the function button 1 more time, recording ends, the blue light would be back again(stand by ).

Take Photo: 

When the pen is in standby mode( light is solid blue ), click the button twice, the light would flash once, a photo of 12 million pixels (4032*3024) would be taken. and the light would return to solid blue 

OFF:

In the mode of the stop, if we need to turn it off, long-press ON/OFF for 6 seconds to see both red and blue lights are off, this means the device is off; Also the recorder would turn off automatically when in standby mode(light is solid blue) for 30 seconds and no operation happens.

Question:	Does it have the motion detection function
Answer:	I get about 9 days on a 128gb micro sd card from Samsung at highest video settings. So I'm guessing you can probably get about 2 days give or take on a 32gb card.

Answer:	Don't buy it. Company is not honest. Charged me for a $99 yearly subscription that I cancelled 3 months earlier. Also I purchased 4 of these units and all 4 have audio issues with crackling and audio feedback. Had them on different networks, so I know it wasn't the WIFI. I ended up trying out the Amazon Cloud Cameras and no issue. Plus the subscription service costs less.
Question:	How do I change the date/time? when I see my videos and pics when connected to my computer, the date/time is incorrect. how do I record voice only
Answer:	They say camera is not waterproof, but i have 2 cameras outside under my eave, located in Florida on the ocean. I expected cameras to last 6 months, but one camera is going on 3 years, the other 2 years. What surprises me the most, is the camera electronics have not been corroded by the salt spray. My Acurite weather stations only last a year at the most. These cameras are well built. I now have 5 of them. They work better than my professional $400 cameras which have totally disintegrated because of the salt spray.
Question:	Does it record audio for real
Answer:	I have a 32 GB, it was recording continuos for about 2 years. I had an issue at home and wanted to check the video, I couldn't retrieve any video, the card was full and apparently the camera stopped recording... I formatted the card and started recording again. The web site says that the camera automatically loops, but it didn't when I needed the most!

Question:	Can it still record well when it's in a pocket shirt
Answer:	I have been in these situation for few days before I finally decide to buy H4n pro. H5n has changeable mic module, analog input knobs and that is all the big difference. In H5N, there is a mic module that enables you to get 2 xlr inputs, total of 4 xlr. Performance, sound quality and reliability are all thesame. This is my opinion based on research and Iv'e owned one of the two.

Answer:	I have 6 of these and record jazz with them. Here is an example of a piano solo recorded with the H4n. Jeff Barnhart is playing Fats Waller's stride piano composition...Handful of keys. Question:	It came with refills for writing or i have to buy it? and what kind of refills
Answer:	In thinking this further for your specific application a better route would be a mixing board. What you will get with the H4N will sound good but this would be a better solution in terms of your specific application. So, look into the Mackie 802LZ4 mixing board. You will need to get mics of course. Look into condenser mics . Line powered as they will be cheaper then the battery required ones and the mixing board has built in line power (phantom power). You will need software but you can find that easily for cheap. Get the lite version for now later you can upgrade to a full version. Again I think the lite version of the mixing software (DAW) will work just fine for you. You will be able to record on your laptop with the mixing board as the audio interface and the software (DAW) as your recorder, editor, and cd burner.
Question:	What is the battery life VOR recording
Answer:	That's a bit too close for a truly homogenous sound IMO. When I first bought it I tried placing it in front of the crowd close to the stage and it ended up favoring the closest instruments too much. Moving it to the back of the room resulted in a more accurate sound for critiquing purposes. Unfortunately back there it also picks up coughs, chatter and loud clappers as well. I've determined that to use it on, or in front of the stage, you need to mix at least four evenly spaced mics to get well balanced sound. Additionally, post production editing is almost mandatory to clean up the sound. This is a sensitive system. Air conditioning systems, room acoustics and loud clapping close to the mics will drive you crazy if you are a perfectionist. Download Audacity for free and start learning it. Learn about hard limiting, compression, notch filters, noise reduction and level adjustments first. Don't overdo any changes you make. Use headphones to monitor your edits. In no time you will be able to quickly work magic on your sound tracks and make them sound much better then the raw file direct from the Zoom. These are just some hints learned the hard way from an ex-noob! Using the Zoom is easy. Squeezing the most out of it takes a little bit longer!

Question:	Mine won't turn off? I hold down the play/pause button until it shuts down. But as soon as I let off the button it turns back on
Answer:	I'm assuming you have the owner's/operator's manual available. If you are following the instructions correctly for turning off the device, and it doesn't operate as specified in the manual, that would suggest a malfunctioning unit. I've seen some situations where a contact will stay "closed" which would be the equivalent of holding down the power button which might only RESTART the device (would APPEAR to shut off but then start back up). But first check the manual to be sure you're doing the shut-down correctly.

Answer:	well if it does not matter to you where you carry the recorder they sell arm band carriers to carry the recorder on you upper arm to prevent the recorder from capturing the sound of the material rubbing sounds it captures being in your pocket. I saw it a video on YouTube that's how some paranormal investigators advise so you don't get all the noise pick up from holding it in your hand or the material rubbing sounds, sounds it may picks up from being in your pocket when you walk or move,,,,,,,,, I hope this help you out in some way.

Answer:	Mine is brand new I had it for only a couple of days and the battery last between 32-38 minutes of record time.
