Also if a comforter is making noises it is most likely the fill has feathers or the comforter cover is something other than cotton. Answer:	Unless you are buying an EXTREMELY high end comforter ($800+), you will not find a comforter that is 100% down (and, by law, only those items may be labeled as “all down”). Generally, if no percentage of feathers and down is given, a comforter is a minimum of 75% down and a maximum of 25% feathers. In the USA, anything with less than 75% down MUST specifically be labeled to identify the exact percentage of down and feathers.

Answer:	Down loft (spring back) is measured. Greater loft means holding for heat with fewer pieces of down. 500 is poor. 1000 is highest. Higher costs more because down is not side product of geese for eating and raised only for the down. 750 is high quality. 750 traps more air than 500. Perhaps it will take 80 ounces of 500 down to be as warm as 40 ounces of 750 down in same size comforter. Also the higher quality down springs back quicker and longer (decades). Baffle construction (rectangular 3-D box) is best to allow loft of down and heat not to escape through the stitching.

I purchased them thinking they were going to be a dark blue green color and shiny. Mine are closer to a sky blue grey, almost baby blue and nooooo sheen what so ever. 2) this pattern are not unique to this company's. There are, in just a quick 10 min search, at least 4 other companies selling this same pattern at half the cost. I purchased the higher priced ones here because there were in my 2 that listed thread count and this one had the highest. 3) however, none of the other listings have any complaints about quality or color 4) why is this one Twice the price but had the most issues.
