Note :

• Please implement SD card installation when the device is equipped with SD card slot and it needs to use SD card.
• Please cut off the device power before installing SD card.

Step 1 : Use wrench to open device cover.

You can see SD card slot and reset button after you open the cover.

Step 2 : Find the location of SD card slot; adjust the direction of SD card, and insert the SD card into the slot and install the SD card well, which is shown in Figure .

Step 3 : Install the cover back to place.

Answer:	This camera is POE+ compatible and so is your switch. Which is what I think you are asking. Without getting too technical the 2 basic POE types are POE+ (48volts) and POE passive (24volts). There are more than 2 standards but the main thing is the 24volt variety is always on and the 48volt talks to the device first before full power output.

Answer:	Before you get all excited, I'd not get overly carried away with this thing, In a 10x10 space, 9 feet up it does cover wall-to-wall from a nearly floor to doorframe .. but the resolution is so low there's no effective way to de-keystone this like there is on higher end (eg: Mobotics) units, but those cost 5 times as much. It's not at all discreet. I recommend the GeoVision PoE Pinhole unit .. it's about 1.5" diameter with a pencil tip lens, the through-hole if you're good with a drill press or stop on a handheld, need be about 3/16 at max and within 1/8" of surface, the conical is about 35 degrees back for the next inch. I've successfully put them in Access Points, Crown molding, Ceiling fans the threaded hollow rod that holds on the glass globe? .. is perfect for this, use your immagination. Note here that while it's PoE there's a 4 foot cable between the head and the box, that another half pack of cigarette size contraption. Usually you can just stash this elsewhere in the ceiling, but it's a funky small Cat6 so the hole needs to fit that unless you can crimp whateer that is. That unit is about the same price .. try it first, it'll have same FoV minus distortion and it's far higher resolution. No IR but you won't need it. That thing is wicked sensitive. FWIW you can select the codec on these and yes that's one of them but audio is a dicy one .. you have somebody call a friend in a dual party state while standing under it (particularly if you're in sneaky mode and there's reasonable expectation) .. you're asking for trouble. When have you ever needed audio to make a case on something (if commercial) and if this is at home you're overthinking it for catching somebody doing whatever. I don't know what this thing is for but I sent it back the next day.
