| Answer: | Larry and everyone else: I weighed my UDI RC U818A HD at the post office (very accurate scales there), and with the battery attached it came in at 4.6 ounces (130.40 grams), which is far under the 8.8 ounce (0.55 lb) limit for registration. In fact, that weight matches the FAA's "Recreational UAS Weights Samplings" webpage for the Discovery U818A (page 3--link below).
