Question:	The mounting claims to be magnetic. What's to precent someone from just ... taking the camera off the mount
Answer:	Well, nothing. But the wire for power is also attached to the camera so they would have to cut that. It's no worse than all the other camera designs which are screwed on or held on with a ball and socket. You can just unscrew them if you want to steal them. The magnet design does give infinite positions and never comes loose with the camera drooping down like screwed connections. It's a good camera. Don't worry about the magnet mount.

Answer:	No. This model is unlike the past D-Link IP cameras. I put in the IP address in a web browser, but no login prompt. All controlled by App.

I emailed the support email address listed in the App and got a returned email listed as access denied. Hoping I can add my original camera back in one of the two apps and delete the other because I am also getting duplicate alert messages from each App for the new cameras.

Answer:	Not sure. I use mine to monitor my 2 dogs when I am not at home. Have had it on at times for 2 to 3 hours with no disconnect but never 12. However there have been times now that I think about it when I have lost the connection but I am usually aware and re log in.

Answer:	DVR Agent can. I think it's the best alternative...FWIW, for those cameras that have PTZ (W4 doesn't), you lost that functionality. I agree, their app needs improvement. The PC app is worse of them all! :/

Answer:	Yes. One camera can be watched by 4 different devices at the same time. Please log in the administrator's account on the app --- when camera is online, click the setting button --- invite family member --- share the link to other devices. Question:	I am not interested on the mobile device features nor the cloud options, can I manage this camera using Windows and record on my local hard drive
Answer:	For the initial set up, you have to use the Wansview Cloud App on your smartphone to set up the camera. After it's paired with the WiFi successfully, you can log in to the Wansview Cloud PC software on your Windows computer to use it. If you want to record to your hard drive, it only supports manual recording, which means you need to manually click the [Record] button on live video page to record. Answer:	I have two different sets of these and they work via home router or thru cellular connection. Do you have the correct version of the app? There are a couple of different ones but these work best with the current version. And make sure they're not set to privacy mode
