Answer:	Yes, the camera will simply start overwriting the oldest data, so depending on the size of the card, you will always have the most recent number of days worth of recording. This works in both continuous recording mode or activity/event mode. Of course, in continuous mode, the amount of days worth of recording will be less as it is continually recording.

1.Install YI Home App and create a YI Home Account

2.Turn your camera on and select the '+' icon in YI Home App to add your camera

3.Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password, then select Connect to Wi-Fi

4.Scan the QR Code shown on the app, then select Next once the QR Code has scanned

Answer:	It can be used indoor or outdoor. The camera is weatherproof. However, the cord is permanently attached and is USB. The USB power adapter is not weather proof. I have mine running to a box in my attic, so it isn’t an issue.

Does the Aqara Camera Hub G2H support recording and viewing in the Homekit App?



HomeKit Secure Video supports recording up to 10 days, stored in iCloud safely. You can view it in the Apple Home App on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. You need to have a 200GB iCloud storage plan to support one camera, and a 2TB storage plan to support up to five cameras. Recording videos will not occupy your iCloud storage space.





Why can't the Aqara Camera Hub G2H connect to Wi-Fi?



1. Aqara G2H requires a secured 2. 4 gigahertz WiFi network connection.



2.The distance between the device and the wireless router is too far away or there are many obstacles in the middle. When the Wi-Fi signal is weak, the network connection may be unsuccessful. Please use a Wi-Fi signal amplifier to relay the signal or move the router close to a place where the device can receive the Wi-Fi signal well.



3. When the wrong Wi-Fi information is entered, the network connection cannot be completed. Please enter the correct information and try again.





What types of encrypted WiFi networks does the Aqara Camera Hub G2H support?

Answer:	This camera was designed only for the Apple Homekit environment. Most other D-Link cameras (except DCS-8xxxLH-series) will support RTSP protocol.

Answer:	I don’t think there is cloud services. I’ve been through all the settings and options, but haven’t found anything about cloud. I had the logic circle 2 and your only option was cloud, I switched to the Omna so I wouldn’t have to pay a subscription. So if you want a subscription Logic circle 2 but if not Dlink OMNA 180 both good choices.

The base station has a ethernet port to connect to your router, so it's pretty easy to set up firewall rules to isolate the Arlo system from the rest of your network if you so desire.

How does Eve Cam detect motion and trigger recordings?

Eve Cam features a dedicated infrared motion sensor to trigger motion alerts, automations and recordings. If you have configured people / pet / vehicle recognition, any motion detected by the infrared motion sensor will cause the video footage to be sent to your Apple TV or HomePod to intelligently determine whether your recording criteria is met. Please note that while the infrared motion sensor can "see" in the dark and even when you have turned the video stream off, it can't see through glass. So if there's a glass door to your front porch or there's a window looking out to your patio or yard, Eve Cam won't detect any motion behind it and thus also not trigger notifications, automations or recordings.

Question:	Will this send a text message when it detects motion? Will it auto record for a time
Answer:	When it detects motion, the system can be set to send a notification to the phone and record a video automatically. It depends on the settings in the app.
Question:	is the Eufy live footage or delayed? I currently have Blink and don't like the delay
Answer:	It's delay a few seconds because the camera has to wake up and start recording and then send a notification via your wifi to your mobile device. Once you click on the notification and it opens the mobile app, all this takes a couple seconds, but when you start seeing the even recording in the upper right hand corner of the event is an icon that switches you to live view.
Question:	Does it require wifi
Answer:	Wifi is required in the house where you connect the "home base" to via ethernet cable (provided), but you don't have to be using your wifi on your phone to view the feed. If your wifi is turned off on your phone, you'll get an alert that Eufy is utilizing your phone provider's data plan.
Question:	Can the spotlight be triggered by motion, other than just manually toggling on/off
Answer:	The spotlight is triggered by motion when you set it up to do so. I have it on my cameras and they do come on. You have to go into the settings and set it. I bought my cameras in May of 2020

Answer:	I don't know since I have an Android phone. The free Eufy app works well. Also, since the video is stored locally (for free) there is only about a 1 second delay as opposed to 20-30 sec delay with Ring and other cloud storage devices.

Answer:	I don’t know the specs on exactly what the angle is, but I would say it’s around 120 degrees wide. It is a wide angle “fish eye” lens. Great resolution. Great camera. I would recommend it. Easy to add more cameras if you need to. No monthly fee. Great app.

Question:	can the cameras be set up with dinamic IP address
Answer:	I've been waiting 12 months for a forum tech support feed with detailed step by step trouble shooting regarding IP connection issues. My NVR has never connected typ my Arris 2.4ghz wifi router so I have never been able to use the NVR. ZMODO tech support only replies once a week and the reply is never technical. It is like advice from a 10 yearold. Worst tech support ever! I'm a trained windows tech with an advanced understanding of networking and I can not figure out why they are not communicating. Answer:	Audio not available on theses, Since it is WI-Fi and cloud based you can add as man y as you would like its just a matter of how much cloud space you want to pay for. I suggest you spend a little more and get a system with a DVR and you can store and keep what you want. Cloud service makes you hostage to the owner, you don't pay you can't retrieve.., I also think there could be some privacy issues (who can see what's being recorded and stored?) I did purchase these and wish I had not.
Question:	Any suggestions on plugging them in for outside use
Answer:	The system is rated IP67, but surprisingly recommends that you 'waterproof' the junction where the power supply connects to the camera. I installed our cameras under an eave, and put the power supply where water might touch it, but not soak it. I wrapped the connection in a decent tape. I've had one of these outside, unsheltered for about three months. The power supply looks 'potted', that is well sealed.
Question:	how do you charge them and how long last the charge
Answer:	I have these and the internal ones, too. They work great. These cameras ARE wireless. Wireless is an industry term referring to a network connection or radio transmission. It has nothing to do with power supply. wire·less wī(ə)rləs/Submit adjective 1.using radio, microwaves, etc. (as opposed to wires or cables) to transmit signals. "wireless broadband" noun 1.broadcasting, computer networking, or other communication using radio signals, microwaves, etc. You will still need 115VA-120VA power within the 6 ft to supply the 5V/1A power block or an extension if further away. If you are looking for a wire-free camera you will need something like an ARLO system. They work great but you will have to replace batteries based on the activity in the area being recorded. Some of mine would last 2 months, but most lasted about 2 weeks. The batteries are expensive. I tried the rechargeables, but they do not last as long. Arlo cameras a great for remote locations.

Question:	Will this work pointed out through a window or will it glare at night? Any suggestions to block the glare? One area only inside window is an option
Answer:	I have two of my cameras pointed through my windows. One in front and one in back of house. As long as there is lighting, it will not glare. When it is very dark, there is a glare. I put out 2 small solar lights in the backyard and turned off the night vision and absolutely no glare ever since. No glare issues in the front of the house as the neighborhood is well lit.
Question:	Has anyone used it for at least 6 months? Is it good to capture a thief in a home? What is its connectivity and alert system in case of a thief
Answer:	A lot of feedback here already, but I’ve had at least one Wyze camera in my home for about a year now and in my experience, they are better than my Ring devices in terms of connectivity and alerts. They connect in the app within 10-20 seconds and the Person Detection is great. I highly recommend the service which extends the recording time as it’s cheap but makes their devices that much more of a premium product. 10/10
