Question:	Can this stand the texas heat in the summer
Answer:	I had mine attached to the window All Summer in Texas Alabama and Mississippi and the heat was brutal and it worked just fine. It did come off the windshield a couple of times probably because I hadn't cleaned it thoroughly but once I cleaned the glass really good and the suction cup it stayed in place but the camera it's self work flawlessly.
Question:	Does the display dim or turn off while still recording? Is it distracting at night
Answer:	You can set it to not have the screen turn on at all, have the screen turn off after 30 seconds, have the screen on all the time, and some other time options that I don't remember offhand. I have mine to turn off after 30 seconds of starting the car. There is a small blue LED that flashes every once in a while to let you know it's still doing its thing when the screen is off.

Answer:	Received this for Christmas 2018 and can confirm that it included both a low-profile 3M adhesive mount and the suction-cup mount. Glad it came with the adhesive mount as it allowed me to place it up higher behind the rearview mirror, where I could not place the suction cup due to the little black windshield dots that are common on lots of vehicles.

Answer:	128 doesn't work to me. It always stated "MicroSD card fails to start" every time I inserted the card.

Answer:	Maybe. It probably depends on what you're connecting it to. A Raspberry Pi, for instance, doesn't support USB-C video, so you'll need two cords. That's no fault of the monitor. If one cord is important to you, I'd suggest confirming, before you buy, that whatever you're connecting it supports USB-C video AND touch over USB-C AND provides enough power over USB for the monitor.

Question:	Can someone let me know if this S1 has loop recording? If no, it is a no go
Answer:	Take the usb/micro usb wire that powers the camera. Plug that into your computer using the USB side and leave your camera plugged in on the micro usb side. The camera will show up as a drive (windows is my computer and Mac is finder) open the drive and open some folders. You will start to see the video files. Another way is pulling out the micro sd card from the camera but this depends on if you have a micro sd reader. Another way is your camera has a WiFi setting. Turn WiFi on the camera, then on your phone access that WiFi as you would if you wanted WiFi. Make sure you have Roav app downloaded. Follow the app from this point.

Answer:	15 Aug 2020: On Windows 10 (2004 Build 19041.450), this webcam's video freezes every few minutes on Zoom meetings. Stopping the video and restarting it fixes it for a few more minutes, but that's not an acceptable solution. As a software developer who once worked on a webcam product, I have some experience with such devices, and this issue is typically caused by poor drivers. Since Aukey doesn't provide any drivers on their Web site, the only available driver is the default Windows one. As good as they are, they're not good enough for this webcam. I am returning it.

Does the Indoor Cam connect to eufyCam HomeBase?

No, the Indoor camera is a standalone product which connects to the user's home WiFi network.

Question:	How is the integration with tvos14 on appletv? does it show alerts on the appletv when motion detected? does it support pip on tvos
Answer:	PIP works for this camera, alerts come to your device and you can open the camera on AppleTV. You will NOT get notifications on AppleTV for motion. Only doorbells get that support.
Question:	Any idea on when homebase support will be added? i don't plan on buying this until i can fully integrate it with the rest of my eufy cameras/homebase
Answer:	To address your concern, the IndoorCam supports connected to the Router directly for recording. The good news is the Homebase connection will be support in the future(Approximately within 3-4 months).
Question:	is the base magnetic
Answer:	I see EufyHome's answer doesn't do its own product justice... The base is not magnetic, but it is metal. I am using a Neodymium Disc Magnet, which sticks to the bottom of the Eufy cam on one side, and sticks to a metal disc base from an old Wyze Cam on the other side. The Eufy cam hangs from the ceiling without issue.
Question:	Will the motion detection work through glass or is this also a passive IR system
Answer:	The camera will detect motion through glass during the day. But, as the seller said, at night the IR lights will reflect off the glass and all you will get is the reflection. You can turn off "Auto Night Vision" in settings, but unless you have an good outdoor light source, the video will not be usable. But...during the day it would be great. It does work great indoors both day & night.

Answer:	It can be rotated to an extent although not fully around. Once you disconnect from the built in WiFi Park mode is not viewable from your phone. Camera runs for three days on battery.
Question:	How bright is the spotlight? I know it says 12 lux, but I have no idea bright that is

Setting Up Your Camera With YI Home App

1.Install YI Home App and create a YI Home Account

2.Turn your camera on and select the '+' icon in YI Home App to add your camera

3.Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password, then select Connect to Wi-Fi

4.Scan the QR Code shown on the app, then select Next once the QR Code has scanned

5.Select Save, then select Start using to finish pairing

6.If connection failed, please push the Reset button and try again



WiFi Settings

1.YI Home cameras will need to connect to a 2.4GHz band network. 5GHz WiFi band is not supported

2.Turning on the location service on the phone if you encounter Unknown SSID issue

1. What other features does the system support?

- Integration with Alexa Echo: You can livestream eufyCam E footage on Echo Show, Echo Spot, and other Alexa-compatible display devices. (Alexa-compatible devices sold separately.)

- RTSP Supports: If you have a Synology NAS* with surveillance function set up, the system can stream videos to NAS and save a copy on it. More brands will be supported in the future. (* Sold separately)

2. What is the range of the motion detection?

Depending on the height and angle, the sensor can detect objects moving as far as 25-30ft (8-10m) away.

3. Can I use my own router to pair with eufyCam?

No. eufyCam requires eufy HomeBase to use.

Question:	Do you have to have WiFi to setup and operate or will the system operate independently of it recording on memory disk
Answer:	It's accessed through the Roav app, which automatically connects to the dashcam via wifi. There's currently no application for Windows or OSX, so only by phone.

Answer:	Sony starvis sensor , 60 fps vs 30 fps, nighthawk vision, 1080 vs 2k , $40 cheaper, newest model. Sensor and price made my decision.
