Answer:	I Love the Camera and functions when it works. I did get the 3 year warranty and had to replace it after about 13 months. Last month the camera stopped again with a focus issue, I sent it in for warranty service again and this time was told the camera would not be fixed because it was damaged. The ring had a slight spot where it was hit about 6 month ago but no more than wear and tear. Panasonic declined to honor their Warranty, so if you use a camera a lot and put it in your pocket I would not recommend a Panasonic camera.

Answer:	I believe the difference is that the kit has a swivel head on top of the legs and the stand just has a screw mount on top of the legs. A swivel mount is really useful for a traditional tripod but not as important for a gorilla pod. The swivel makes it easier to make small adjustments to angle/position but also is more likely to slip if you load it up with a heavier camera and lens.

Answer:	It does a decent zoom, but if you want true zoom in or out, I suggest another lens. I only use mine for family photos, etc, and outings, but I may invest in another lens for close and father shots. I have a hummingbird nest on my patio, and I find the basic lens doesn't quite do the job of catching the tiny egg and details, and for distance it only goes so far.

Answer:	Some people consider the D3400 a better camera than the D3500 due to the elimination of the "Function" button on the front of the camera that was accessible with the photographer's left hand that allows the ISO setting to be changer with the right thumb wheel while looking through the viewfinder. Also the IR remote shutter control was eliminated. I believe from what I read that all this was done to reduce the size (the body is the same as the D5600) and weight of the camera, improve battery life, and reduce manufacturing cost. Nikon does have a free app for your smart phone, SnapBridge App, that allows your smart phone to act as a remote shutter control and can automatically send your pictures (reduced resolution) to your smart phone. So to answer your question - I don't believe the the D3500 is an upgrade or a downgrade to the D3400 just the next in their line of "Beginner" DSLR Cameras.

Answer:	Keep in mind if you get the one with the pan head that it is very hard to fit it into the case. I usually have to remove the handles to get it in.
Question:	Can this tripod get really low to the ground/spread out on the ground without extending the arm out
Answer:	The Legs DO fold out further, so that you can get lower to the ground. If you want to get lower, what you can do is slide up the middle piece all the way up, it comes out. Then you can flip it upside down so that the camera is now between the 3 legs. Sure your photo will be upside down, but that's what the rotate function is for in your photo editor.
Question:	Its so confusing,whats the difference with the 263 tripod kits and tripod, does that mean for 169$ you only get the tripod head
Answer:	The trick is to look at the last (second) letter in the model number. If it ends with "T" then it's just the tripod legs. "B" stands for ball head, so if the name ends in "B" you get the tripod legs and the a ball head. "P" stands for pistol-grip head. The first letter stands for the name of the material: "A" for aluminum, "C" for carbon fiber. So if the model number is 263AB, it means that it's the aluminum tripod legs plus a ball head.

Answer:	Vanguard Alta Pro 263AB is both taller and larger than the 264AB. Both are virtually identical in weight, and have identical 7.0kg load capacities.I own both, the 263AB is a full-size (height-wise) tripod, while the 264AB is subtly more compact, which is noticeable when you set them up side-by-side. If you are of average height you may find you do not need to extend the center column with the 263AB very often, while you will probably need to extend the center column on the shorter 264AB most of the time. This technically affects stability, but the ~4" of extension is generally not significant for casual use. Answer:	It seems to be fairly weather resistant to me so far. Water beads off the finish easily. The two permanent legs are built so they won’t fill with rainwater. The monopod leg has a rubber seal ring built into the coupler to prevent rain from filling the tube. Screws & bolts have light anodized coating, might rust eventually if you leave it wet - Dry off your gear! I don’t believe the feet are absolutely water-tight, so I don’t know what will happen if you stand it in water. One side note for Astrophotographers: the feet do not have retractable metal spikes under the rubber pads. They’re just hard caps with a little tread, semipermanently attached to end of a bare tube. Feet are OK for faster shutter photography, but they jiggle a bit in the wind, which will effect your time lapse or Open Shutter long exposures.

Answer:	The ball may be plastic, I have had no reason to disassemble the ball head. Considering the low cost of this tripod, I find it works well.
