Answer:	It should hold a standard theater projector. Just ensure that the locking knobs are tightened. There isn't a screw hole to secure the projector. You'll need to strap it down or apply non slip adhesives to the tray. An alternative would be to drill holes lining up to existing bottom holes and bolt it in. Hope that helps.

Answer:	You could adjust it to any height, up to its maximum. The drilled holes are for extra security to keep it from sliding back down. But you could tighten the nut enough to hold it wherever you want. You just won't have that added security. You could always put the pin at the next higher hole so that, if it did slide, it would only go a couple inches.

If your projector has 3 holes pattern or 4 hole pattern, and the distance between two diagonally holes in the top of the projector between 17cm to 31cm. this mount will fit your projector.

Answer:	There are slots that are in the top of the mount that allow you to connect it directly to the ceiling if you would like to and if that works for your setup. Most setups require the projector to be several inches lower than the mount itself is setup for, but you absolutely can screw the mount directly into your ceiling. Make sure you land it on a ceiling stud. You can see the four angled slots on the top of the mount. Those allow you to screw it into your ceiling and still rotate the mount left/right just a bit as needed for fine tuning the position.
Question:	How do you adjust tilt, etc. with this mount? Chief is known for precise adjustment but I don't see knobs here
Answer:	There are thumb screws which allow you to attach the projector to the mount. The pitch, yaw and roll are controlled by losening the appropriate screws and tilting the projector. The mounting bracket does give you the ability to adjust the projector with great accuracy.

Question:	I have an optoma hd146x and it only has a three hole configuration but everything i've found only shows a mount with four arms. will this work for me
Answer:	I had to turn mine upside down and remove the four foot screws and mount it, then in your projector menu you can flip the picture so it’s not upside down, I hope that helps you. I think it’s real common for you to have to do that, just make sure yours has that , you should be able to remove the feet and replace with your ceiling mount. Good luck.

Answer:	The four mounting screws are flexible to mount any position.
Question:	The four holes are too wide to fit all in the stud. Will the mount still support 30lbs if two are in the dry wall and two are in the stud
Answer:	The mount is not very sturdy. I would say max 16lbs, and 16lb is pushing it. They lied about 30lbs. 2 holes in the stud should be fine.
