Q: Why do the pictures that are shot have vignetting, black circles, and vignettes?

A: This ring flash is a micro flash. If the ring flash is mounted on a wide-angle lens, and the wide-angle lens has a wide view, it will cause the macro flash block a part of the field of view, thus the black circle (or vignetting) will appear in the picture.

To avoid this problem happen, please don't use it for wide-angle lens. The ring flash is a macro flash, which is used to shoot small objects at close distance. The macro is rarely used with wide-angle lens. If the above problems occur, it is not a product problem. It is possible that you are not using it properly.

Q: Why are the pictures very dark?

A: Because the ring flash itself has a small flash output index, it can only be used for very close macro shots, about 20CM. So once the distance is too far, or the camera parameters are not set properly, then the picture will be definitely dark.

Q: How to install the ring flash on the lens?

A: Each lens has a filter size, you need to use the corresponding filter adapter ring in the product so that it can be installed smoothly.

Q: Flash Mode & Steady Light Mode

A: The light transmission amount of these two modes is very limited. It is only suitable for illuminating smaller objects at a close distance of 20cm, and the parameters of the camera should be matched properly to make a better picture.

When using this ring flash, the camera shutter speed is too high, or the aperture value is too small, can not shoot a good picture, the main reason is that the amount of light transmission is really small, the shooting distance should be close enough.

Question:	Re: silver & white reflector: why or when to use the white side and when to use the silver side
Answer:	Generally I only use them for closeup or macro and mostly I use the white side for a softer light, also the flash has to be very close but out of the frame to achieve a soft light. Think flowers, leaves and grasses. The silver side works well to get more contrast such as ice or frost formations, wet rocks or colored stones or backlighting. I found them most useful for small objects in the field.

You must check the diameter of the front of the lens, not the focal length....

Answer:	Constant light but not flash. The light can be set for 360degrees or 180 either side. But it is not a flash, just provides constant illumination for close up shots.

Answer:	Technically it does have a light only feature, albeit only for about 10 seconds. If you press the 'Lamp" button two lights (top and bottom center) come on for about 10 seconds. I believe the main purpose is to see where the shadows, if any, will fall before taking the shot, but it works nicely for illuminating a subject also.

Answer:	The 24in collapsible box in the bag with all the extras is about 11inx11in and can be squeezed down to 2.5in-3in in depth.

Answer:	You need outside lights. The point of the tent is to allow lighting from without to pass through in a way that does not create shadows. If properly lit you don't even need your camera flash.
Question:	HOw did you get the wrinkles out of your backdrops? Would the dryer ruin them
Answer:	Here's what I finally did, my dryer has a Steam setting on it. I put it through the Stem Fresh about 3-4 times with High Heat (my steam setting high heat doesn't get THAT hot). Wrinkles are coming out.
Question:	How do you fold this back into the case
Answer:	1- Fold the tent flat. 2- With your right hand grab the lower right corner. This is a normal grip. Your thumb will be on the front side of the tent and four fingers on the back side. 3- With your left hand grab the top left corner. This is an upside down grip. Your fingers will be on the front side and your thumb on the back side. (Imagine a steering wheel but instead of a normal grip you turn your hand upside down and grab the inside of the wheel at 10 o' clock) 4- Twist outward with your left hand and inward with your right while bringing your fists together into the center. 5- With practice you'll get it right.
