Question:	How long does the battery life last, using AA's compared to compared to camera batteries
Answer:	Depends on how long you let it sit idle. I tried to use it yesterday and 8 bucks worth of Lithium AA cells were all dead. It was turned off (it even clicks off). But it was still using the batteries. So to confirm, I measured the current with it firmly in the off position. It draws a constant 5mA drain with it off. From now on, I'll pull out one battery when I'm not using it. Kinda a pain - especially since the brightness dial has a click-off position which means they should have used that to disconnect the battery !

Answer:	Best I can offer is this lil' trick: I have 3 units. I went to Dick's Sports and bought a $9 hand gun case. It's got padding in it, it's plastic, and it's the right size for a few of these. It fits three units plus batteries and 5/8" to coldshoe adapters for each (so I can place on stands). I'm sure there's cases like this on here on Amazon. I consider these a poor man's pelican but be clear that while protective they are no pelican case. I hope this helps.

Question:	Can you change the temperature on the 176s? And if so, how? I tried following the instructions on the manual, but it didn't work
Answer:	There are only two temperature options. Use it without the orange filter or with it. The device itself has a dimmer knob, but that doesn't change the temperature. To get the warmer temp, just slide that orange filter over the front.
Question:	What AC adapter(s) currently work with this
Answer:	The back of the light states, "DC 6.5v-17v," so anything between those voltages should work. However, I would not use one at either extreme. I'm guessing that the higher voltages will cause the internal electronics to run hotter in order to control the voltage, so a 9 volt or 12 volt DC adapter should work fine. I got an adapter that handles more current than usual (12v 10 amps) and connected a ten-output adapter with long extensions to run my five lights. I wish I had selected a 9v 10 amp adapter to run cooler, but my system runs fine.
Question:	Can it charge with an ac adapter be used to charge it, without a battery
Answer:	It is capable of being used with an AC adapter, but you have to buy it separately. I do not know if it will charge the battery while utilizing the AC adapter.

Answer:	Most cameras can have an extension, slide in mount on top (for flashes). As long as you can have mount it on one of those, out from the wall a bit, it should fine. Make sure it supports the weight. It's not heavy but you don't want it to fall and you want to reach the controls in back.

Answer:	I’d say NO! I’d definitely not let it get wet. Nice light but definitely not made to be in rain or anything like that.
