Measurement steps:

1. Remove the protective cover according to the direction mark.

2. Press the key to boot.

3. Short press the MODE button to select the desired unit Lux/FC, long press the MODE button to select the desired mode, divided into: current measurement / maximum measurement / minimum measurement, short press HOLD button to lock the screen.

4. The meter automatically measures by default. If you need to manually switch the range, press and hold the HOLD button to cycle through the range.

5. Take the meter to the top of the optical sphere and face the light source to get the reading.

6. Press the key to shut down and cover the protective cover.



Note:

Do not measure in high temperature/high humidity area. When using, the light detector should be kept clean. The light source test reference standard is located at the top of the receiving sphere. When not using, please cover the protective cover to improve the service life of the instrument.

Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.

Answer:	Honestly, you probably could read the output of them in Milligauss or Microtesla but you would have to get pretty uncomfortably close. For reading radiation of those things and not endangering yourself I imagine you would need a pretty powerful EMF Meter. After doing some quick research on this, you would need something along the lines EMF Detector with the detectable range of something like 10 Hz to 10-12 GHz. For radiation coming from Cell towers you will be in the 50-10,000 MHz Radiation from high tension lines you will be looking at under 5 MHz by a great deal

Answer:	Good question. and I can't find an answer it doesn't say but in the picture when it's showing someone testing continuity it shows that it's beeping what it doesn't say that it does beat and we've got two people on here that say it does not and two people that say that it does so good luck I'm looking for one that is audible myself why all multimeters don't have an audible noise when you have continuity I will never know either that or you can have one that has a paper thin needle that jumps and you can't see it and you have to take your eyes off of what you're working on to see if you have continuity and when you move your head you lose contact and it's such a pain in the ass
Question:	Is this unit protected by a fuse? If so, is it replaceable? My last meter was fused but it was soldered. I couldn't easily replace it
Answer:	I had to replace the ammeter fuse (because I forgot to switch the hot (red) test lead from the left side to the middle, before testing my car's battery voltage). That fuse is 10A 600V. I looked around for those & couldn't find them, but found 10A 250V and these worked OK. Answer:	plug the red lead into the meter socket marked COM and the black into the center meter socket. Set the dial to V~ (for AC volts) on the 200 scale (for household current) insert one probe lead into each of the wall socket's vertical slots and move them around a bit inside the outlet slots to make sure you're getting a good connection, if in doubt plug a lamp or something into the socket. If you suspect the outlet socket itself has failed carefully remove the wall plate in order to access the actual wires connected to the outlet to be sure it's either a dead circuit or the outlet itself has failed.
