Question:	how is the image quality on a t5i eos rebel
Answer:	You never used it? You are missing out mi amigo, as that is one super sharp lens! Not only is it good for macro work, but can be used as a portrait lens too! The bokeh it can produce is pretty awesome. All that being said, I would hold off on the macro flash for a minute, or even a ring light for that matter. Since you have not used it, how can you know that you need one? If you are shooting on a crop camera (Rebel, 50D/60D/70D/80D, 7D), then you have the advantage of having a lot of room between your subject and camera. This space can be used to get light on your subject, and could eliminate the need for a lens mounted macro flash or ring light. Also, depending on the subject, it might not give a very flattering look, as light coming directly at the subject tends to give it a bright, washed out look. I call it the “flash look” as it is unmistakable from anything else. Maybe a small reflector and off-camera flash would work better, or perhaps something called a flashbender. If you already have a Speedlite, this can be a much less expensive option, as any of the macro flashes I would suggest are no less than 400 USD.No matter what you do, at the very least start using the lens. I would personally not be able to justify buying an expensive accessory for a lens I don’t even use. I don’t even buy hoods for my least used lenses, and those aren’t even 10 bucks, LOL! In the end, you might find that the 100mm doesn’t add anything to your style anyway, in which case you can just sell it and get something that will.

Answer:	The primary difference between the Canon EF 100 mm f /2.8L IS USM Macro Lens and the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Lens is the IS. This refers to Image Stabilization. The IS in that lens is good to 4-stops (really probably 2 or 3) meaning it can compensate for the shake in the image from a longer exposure. This is a benefit for macro photography as it allows for a longer exposure with a smaller aperture, allowing for a greater depth of field in your image. You can search for macro photos on Google images and you will notice the small depth of field in most of the photos, which frames the subject well when used correctly, but when it is too small, only a small part of the subject will actually be in focus.Secondarily, the Canon EF 100 mm f /2.8L IS is a "L" or "Luxury" lens. Although partially a marketing gimmick by Canon, this means that the lens will be higher quality, have at least partial weather sealing, have a better outside lens coating, and generally be of higher build quality. As an owner of the less expensive of the two, and having used both, I would recommend buying the cheaper one if you just want to get started in macro photography, and maybe spend some money on extension tubes or a macro flash. If you are still curious about both these lens, I always recommend renting the lens in question before a purchase or going out and finding them in a photography store. I personally use lensrentals.com for my rentals, but there are several excellent renters on the web.

Answer:	Did you take your case off your phone? If you haven't thats probably the problem. These lenses have to be flush with your phone in order to work. I have another one of these by a different company and it has to be done the same way. If its still blurry after you take the case off then try pressing your finger to the middle of your picture. That sometimes will make your camera refocus and come in clearer. Also if you're using the macro (up close lens) then you have to get really close to the object youre taking a picture of (like an inch or less) for it to come in clear. It's designed that way so you can get up close pictures with minute details.

Answer:	No, this lens is EF-M mount, the 70D is a DSLR that uses the Canon EF and EF-S mount. The EF-M mount is for the Canon EOS M, M2, M3 and M10 cameras.

Answer:	Yes and I completely agree with NILO. The lens has a stepped front plane so in all but the rarest situations will a lens hood by needed. I've shot well over a thousand photos ( indoors and out) since purchasing this lens and I didn't need a hood.

Answer:	It's a great lens, so sharp and amazing quality. I have a canon rebel series and it works just fine on it. I use a full frame camera primarily, so it stays true to 100mm. Just keep in mind it'll be 150mm with the t5i due to its crop sensor (shouldn't matter much for macro work).

Answer:	Build quality is better on the new model, and the STM focus is better for video. IQ for stills is about the same, with the new STM model having a little better color and less aberrations at wide open apertures. So if you don't have either, get the STM model. IF you have the older molder, then it is only worth the upgrade if you plan to do a lot of video. Answer:	You will have a much better lens. The optical quality of the 50mm is much better than your kit lens. There will be next to zero geometric aberration (straight lines come out as curved with the 18-55), excellent low-light performance, and a much shallower depth of field (a much blurrier background to help your foreground stand out). Both the latter come from the faster lens - f/1.8 vs f/3.5, a full 2 stops.The only thing is that it is a fixed lens, so you cannot change your field of view. However, it's something you will get used to very soon. I started out with the 28-135mm USM, and basically stopped using it after I got the nifty fifty.

Answer:	Auto will work fine, but as you gain experience you will want to explore the other settings on your camera. I like to use A, aperture priority, to control the depth of field of my pictures, so I can get 1 flower in focus and the rest blurred a bit. Also in auto you will have to settle on what the camera decides should be in focus. By using the different focusing modes of your camera you get to pick where and on what is to be the focus of your picture. There are a number of good sources especially of information on macro photography including YouTube, photographer blogs, and texts. While not the ultimate in macro lens I have enjoy using this lens and the pictures it can produce

Whether the Kit Works on My Phone?

The max distance clamp can reach is 45mm. As long as the distance from the center of main camera to any edge of your phone is less than 45mm, the clamp will work. That means the lens kit will work.

Installation Guide

Step 1

Find out the main camera

If your phone has only one camera, then it is the main camera.

If your phone has two or more cameras, block the cameras one by one with the camera app open. If you see a blockage, it's the one being used: main camera.

Step 2

Attach the clip to your phone and slide the lens ring to center the main camera. Make sure the clip does not block the camera.

Step 3

Tighten the screw on the clip to a maximum. Important: that helps to keep the clip stay on your phone.

Step 4

Screw in the lens you desire to the clamp and start shooting.

Note: Tripod is recommended to use with telephoto lens since it's a bit heavy for some 'not-very-stable' hands.

Answer:	If you do not use the lens hood it shouldn't be a problem. If you do,you should use an exterior flash. I use an SB800 but that's personal preference.While the built in flash is handy it makes the photos' seem flat.However at times its better than the alternative

Answer:	Hi Chandana,I own the 85mm 1.8G and 105mm 2.8G Macro for different purposes. The 105mm 2.8G is a great lens for product photography and for some portraits however for portrait shots, I shy away just because it is too sharp. From my perspective, the image is crisp but it does not look natural in my eyes. It looks somewhat Artificial just because it is optimized for close up macro. Thats why I use the 85mm instead which looks really natural. This will really depend on the person. People have different perspective. hope it helps :)
Question:	Does this maintain it's 2.8 across magnification range
Answer:	Before you read the data spec answers, consider that Macro is not the same as your normal understanding of a 2.8 aperture. The challenge with this lens is actually that the DOF is SO RAZOR THIN that it's hard to get anything in focus...even at F11 (yes, eleven!!). It's totally different than what you think of a standard lens at F/1.4... when you're shooting objects that are just 6 inches away from the front of this lens, the maximum F4.0 aperture is almost impossible to use without getting a blurry photo...it is so thin that you will be frustrated getting focus right just because you can't stop your own heartbeat from slightly moving your body forward/backward, or worse if the wind even barely blows to move something out of the RAZOR THIN DOF. I shoot this lens at F8 when I want to completely blur everything behind the subject and F16 when I want to ensure tricky situations (wind, I'm reach and it's hard to hold myself still) get AT LEAST SOMETHING in focus. It's not the same as a what you're used to with a standard DOF...that's not an insult, it's an education. I personally did not know this and found shooting macro to be VERY challenging to get anything actually IN FOCUS at even F11. Hope that's helpful, now read on as everyone gives you data specs below...
