Answer:	The Sony A7 has an advertised flash sync speed of 1/250 of a second. I don't own one but I've seen posts suggesting that some folks struggle to get it above 1/60th of a second. So when you use your flash, your camera may be forcing the shutter speed down to the maximum flash sync speed (1/250th or 1/60th of a second) WITHOUT OTHERWISE ADJUSTING YOUR EXPOSURE. So, say you're shooting outside on an overcast day and you want to use a fill flash. Without a flash maybe you'd be shooting at 1/1000th of a second or faster. With the flash you'd expect to shoot FASTER but, because of the slower flash sync, you're shooting slower. That slower speed means more light and that gives you a white image. To compensate, either use a filter to dim the entire scene or look into a camera with a faster flash sync speed. Unfortunately, faster is more expensive.
Question:	Can this flash be fired by the Canon 60D internal flash control off camera
Answer:	Yes. The 60D uses the Canon E-TTL flash system which fires a pre-flash to test exposure. You can set the TT560 to ignore this pre-flash. You won't get flash metering control via the camera, but it can trigger these flashes off camera. However, my own testing shows this flash only outputs 40% of the claimed power, so be aware of that issue as well.

Answer:	The quick release plate would get mounted to the camera body, with the QR plate, attached yes. I have been in situations in which I wanted to remove the long lens and take a few wide/landscape shots and did exactly this (albeit with a different body than you reference). If you plan to use the head for different set-ups, I would recommend buying a few extra plates. My biggest lenses take a different thread size screw (for the plate to lens) that other lenses and bodies. When you buy extra Manfrotto QR plates, they come with both "standard" screw thread/sizes to use on the plates.
Question:	Can I order another mini stand for this flash

Answer:	Yes it works on the 5d mark iii as I've used it on one myself, just make sure it is in ettl mode. And yes it has an af illuminator that is red. It shoots red beams in a circular pattern to help with focusing and it works surprisingly well. The only downside to this flash is the way it eats batteries. At full power I maybe get 40 shots, though you won't always be taking it at full power so I'd probably recommend picking up some rechargeable batteries. Just don't get lithium batteries as they are quite bad in all speedlites. They tend to heat up and may even melt or destroy your flash. So your best bet is to either use the regular alkaline batteries which can be costly or use nickel batteries or NiMh, as for a recommendation on which ones to buy, well I'd get the panasonic Eneloops as they are very highly rated among photographers.
