Answer:	The Sony A7 has an advertised flash sync speed of 1/250 of a second. I don't own one but I've seen posts suggesting that some folks struggle to get it above 1/60th of a second. So when you use your flash, your camera may be forcing the shutter speed down to the maximum flash sync speed (1/250th or 1/60th of a second) WITHOUT OTHERWISE ADJUSTING YOUR EXPOSURE. So, say you're shooting outside on an overcast day and you want to use a fill flash. Without a flash maybe you'd be shooting at 1/1000th of a second or faster. With the flash you'd expect to shoot FASTER but, because of the slower flash sync, you're shooting slower. That slower speed means more light and that gives you a white image. To compensate, either use a filter to dim the entire scene or look into a camera with a faster flash sync speed. Unfortunately, faster is more expensive.
Question:	Can this flash be fired by the Canon 60D internal flash control off camera
Answer:	Yes. The 60D uses the Canon E-TTL flash system which fires a pre-flash to test exposure. You can set the TT560 to ignore this pre-flash. You won't get flash metering control via the camera, but it can trigger these flashes off camera. However, my own testing shows this flash only outputs 40% of the claimed power, so be aware of that issue as well.

Answer:	No. It works with Canon equipment only. Nikon has their own Speedlites.
Question:	Can I shoot continuously? What is the recycle time
Answer:	Speed shooting wasn't a feature that I was looking for when I bought this, but I have tested it in single shot and high speed modes. My testing was done using "Default" settings, both camera and flash with Panasonic BK-3MCCA4BA Eneloop AA 2100 Cycle Ni-MH batteries. In single shot mode, the flash fired as quick as I could press the shutter button, I'm guessing less than 1/2 second between shots. In high speed (6fps), it drops the ninth frame just about every time, but picks up where it left off and it's just a one dark frame, i.e., no pause to recycle before it flashes again. I'm not sure how long it would keep this up. I stopped after 20 seconds or so. Reducing the power, to say 1/4, or using an external battery pack or power supply would probably help, but depending on your shooting conditions, that isn't always an option. I used an EOS 5D mark IV & EF 50mm f/1.8 lens with the flash zoom range set to 50mm. Canons specs vary too much for me and probably include an average recycle time of every scenario they could throw at it. I mean 0.3 - 5.5 seconds on high and 0.1 - 3.3 seconds on low? To me, that is too wide a range to get any real world info from.

Answer:	If this is a bridge camera (35x zoom) it can't be used for digiscoping period! You can use a point & shoot 5x or less with fair results. opteca T-mount adapter will work with most Canons including the EOS models.

Answer:	I had the same challenge, with an old Canon 'New F1' and a few FD lenses which was the mount style in use by Canon at the time (your AE1 uses 'FD' mount lenses). This particular Opteka mount is needed to mount their particular lens to your EOS body. What you need is an FD to EF lens mount adapter, which I had to buy in order to use my old lenses on my Canon EOS 80D. Fotodiox makes a very good quality FD to EF mount adapter, which I got through Amazon last summer. I think it was around $35, but I don't recall the retailer. Note that when using these old FD lenses you will need to set your EOS camera to manual and use the camera's meter and take the lens out of its "A" setting, setting the aperture ring manually. Also note that you'll miss that wonder split focusing ring that you had on the AE1.
