Answer:	Well we didn't have to use an extension cord where we have it, but knowing a little about electricity amps and voltage loss happens when you use a thin extension cord that's not rated for the amps the item needs plus using a cord over 25 feet you loose amps . So if your going to use a cord look to see what the machine is rated for and get a cord that can handle that plus do not use a a two prong chord use a three prong.Hope this can help the machine is good just beware not to put dirty coins or sticky coins because the rotary part that spins the coins will get stuck but its an easy fix just take lid off and clean with damp rag.
Question:	can this radio be plugged in, or is it only battery operated
Answer:	No it only has one slot for wrapping quarters. However, all you are dealing with here is the speed it takes you to take the tube out and put another wrapper in. The machine stops when the wrapper has the correct amount of coins in the sleave then you hit a button to continue. My guess would be about 5 seconds pull the tube, put a new quarter wrappers in and start the machine. Also what is great about it keeps track of the quarter count for you all during this time.

After you import your video, you would be able to edit it, and then burn DVDs from it. I use my GV-D200 to plug directly into a dvd recorder, and capture the 8mm tapes digitally to either the hard drive, or directly to dvd, using the "DV In" port. Hope that helps.

Answer:	It does not have a dedicated power on/off button except a Radio off button. It powers on when a CD is loaded or the play button or radio on button is pressed. You may turn off the radio with the radio off button. It goes to sleeping or stand-by mode after a certain period of time when CD play finishes or radio off button is pressed. But it never bothers me without a dedicated power button. By far it is the best CD player I've ever used. Sadly it has been rolled out and replaced by iPod.

Question:	Can you get an external charger to charge the battery, or can you only charge the battery via USB while it is in the camera
Answer:	Surprised someone is still asking about this and not really sure what you mean but...If you mean how many hours I ran it or its reliability I used it hundreds of hours over years and many drops and bangs and last I checked it still worked. If you mean battery life I think it was about 30 hours maybe 40 with radio or no song skipping.It was a great player and I using it heavily without fail through most of the ipod revolution. It wasn't until I got my ipod classic 4th gen 80 gig that I retired the sony. The ipod for double the price or so went from 120 songs to thousands. Fully shockproof, smaller more pocketable and better rechargable battery. The sony may have lasted longer though technologically as it was only a few years before I went to streaming through pandora. Still use the ipod where there is no data. Even then I miss directory forward/ back buttons of the sony. Ipod jog wheels suck especially when driving.

Answer:	are you referring to "rewritable" CDs as in a CD you created? Yes, it does play them
Question:	How superior would you say this is compared to a 14mp camera? (I currently have an Olympus
Answer:	I honestly don't know. The batteries in this unit last for a long time and I never needed one. I can go through about 100 cd s on one change of batteries. That is a guess because it could be more.

Answer:	It has an ear phone port and that's what I use on my phone to connect to the car Aux port.
