Answer:	I am not positive, I believe AC hum comes from a ground loop in the wiring of the home. I am using mine to stop line interference from appliances in the home (did not work). Some interference is transmitting from electrical devices, just like radio, tv, light bulbs, document shredder, etc.
Question:	If the fuse is blown why does the switch still light up? I took the lid off and all the solder joints were fine
Answer:	You likely have an HP *laser* printer with a fuser that heats up and fuses toner to the paper as it passes by. When you turn on a laser printer, the fuser draws a lot of current to heat up very quickly, not unlike a coil in an electric kettle (which will also cause your lights to dim/flicker). the reason your printer does this is that it doesn't have the amperage to drive both the printer and all the other loads you have on it. The only way to fix this is to have an electrician install an appropriately high amperage circuit.

Answer:	It has a 5 Amp fuse on the input side of the transformer. The transformer has a rating of 500 VA. This means that you must have a current draw on the secondary of 4.17 Amps or less at 120 VAC so you don't risk blowing the input side fuse.

Answer:	I use it for isolating old tube radios. Keep in mind the ground is not isolated but the old tube radios don’t have a 3 prong grounded plug. Ocassionally I do plug in an old tube radio that will blow the fuse due to the inrush current. I use this device mostly when doin IF alignments and trouble shooting.

Answer:	Probably not. You are most likely picking up the radio signal thru the unbalanced wires running to/from your mixing board. This transformer isolates the 120 volt mains thru induction and is not used for what you are having problems with.

A good subwoofer can transform the home theater experience by adding a movie-theater feel to your surround sound system. But a powered subwoofer, built to amplify low-frequency sounds and effects, is also susceptible to one of the most vexing home theater problems: hum.



Troubleshooting Subwoofer Hum:



There are a few possible causes of subwoofer hum: internal noise from the power supply, induced hum in the subwoofer cable, hum getting into the signal path prior to the subwoofer cable, and "ground loop" hum from a difference in ground potential at the source and the sub. This transformer will eliminate , the most common cause of subwoofer hum, but will not resolve the others.



Specific troubleshooting tips:



- Cause , a bad subwoofer power supply, can be checked by simply unplugging the input cable from the sub and seeing if hums with no input.



- Cause , induced hum in the subwoofer cable, is normally caused by the cable being too close to power cords -- check cable spacing.



- Cause , hum getting into the signal path prior to the sub cable, is harder to diagnose, but usually the way to proceed is to test what happens when you switch or disconnect individual sources from your amp.



If the more common ground-loop issue, above, is your only problem, this transformer will resolve it. This isolation transformer is a quality, US-made audio transformer which eliminates the need for a straight-through ground/ground connection between your receiver and your powered subwoofer. With the grounds on both sides isolated from one another, ground current won't flow down the shield; the result is elimination of ground loop hum. We recommend it be used with Blue Jeans Cable LC-1 subwoofer cables, which are heavily shielded to reduce induced noise, for a truly quiet, low-noise-floor subwoofer.

• Most, but not all, problems with a humming subwoofer are caused by ground loops. If your powered subwoofer hums due to a ground loop between amp and sub, this transformer will fix the problem by breaking the ground connection while allowing the signal to pass through.
• This transformer will NOT fix hum caused by other causes, e.g., power supply issues within the sub, ground loops between devices other than the amp and sub, induced hum from power cabling placed too close to the subwoofer cable. See troubleshooting tips, below.
• Comes with instruction sheet describing causes of hum, and how to track it down and eliminate it. If this transformer doesn't fix your hum issue, this means something other than a ground loop between amp and sub is responsible for the problem -- and you're welcome to return it for a full refund.

Question:	I love the camera, but I cannot get it to capture still photos while recording a movie. Can somebody tell me how to do it
Answer:	Hello Harry, Please explain what you mean you cannot get still shots while recording. Do you want the camera to display still photos when you take them and you choose when to continue taking video. Or you cannot find your still photos after you take them, you only see the video. As I explained, possibly not clearly, when you are recording a video and you press the shutter button to take a photo, the camera do not interupt your video recording to display the picture. after completing your video you press the play/review button and then you will see the photos and the video when going in reverse order. if you review from begining you will see video first then your pictures.
Question:	I want to make sure I have everything I need to start shooting on day one. What accessories come in the box with the camera
Answer:	I would suggest at least ordering 55-mm UV filter (acts as lense protector so you should never have to wipe/clean the coatings on your expensive lense or worry about scratches). May want to consider a circular polarizing lens (linear polarizers supposedly don't work on sensor cameras). You will also want to have an SD, SDHC, or SDXC UHS-I (letter I vs an UHS-II interface) memory card that is at least Class 10 (C with a 10 in it), UHS-1 (number 1) or UHS-3 speed class which is U with a 1 or 3 in it. I suggest at least 16 GB, with 32 GB being better. I like videos, so I got 64 GB. A case to protect your camera would be nice. I also favor a better shoulder strap and a hand strap grip. One end of the hand strap should screw into the tripod mount and supply its own tripod mount hole to allow mounting to tripod without removing the strap.
